The Blues Does Not Get Any Better

Peter Green was one of my favourite British Blues guitarists of all time, and it was a shame when his personal problems brought a halt to a glittering career. Gary Moore to his credit has put together a fantastic collection of Green classics, bringing them bang up to date in his own blues style, but with more than a passing nod to his idol's phrasing and technique.
Amazingly, Gary has used the same 1959 Gibson Les Paul that belonged to Peter, on these recordings, and which he bought off Peter when he was down on his luck and not looking to play guitar any more.
This really is a loving tribute from Gary to Peter, and I can't recommend it highly enough.
Boy, would I have loved to hear these two play together.
