The best one you could ever have! Since I bought it, I have never had any problems. It very fast, accurate, clearly showing even tiny roads. Lots of POI and you can easy download more.

I will never look back I had a TomTom and it broke down, so i had to send it to Holland to be fixed. It came back in the same state so I just threw it on the floor and smashed it into bits. Then i got myself one of these Garmin 660 machines and I must say it really is the best choice I have made. I drive for a living and with this Garmin I can avoid traffic build ups, listen to the mp3 through the stereo in my cab and it gets me to my destination every time. With the Co-ordinate that can be entered, if I break down in the middle of a field i can let the breakdown services know exactly where I am. I have just downloaded from lowbridges.com and now my machine is 100% perfect.
It's got food, fuel, Banks,, Lodging, shopping, parking, entertainment, recreation, attractions, community, hospitals, transit and auto services all pre-loaded. Excellnet machine.

Works like a dream, handy having the blue tooth for using the mobile,lots of other little things that you probably never use but good to have them there just in case.Machine has a good accuracy with the maps and the points of interest come in usefull. Found it to be the same as my 310d model but with larger screen.close call between this and the other sat navs on the market namely tomtom, but easier to use than the others such as sony, binatone etc.

The wife has a i3 model and it is easy to set up and gives correct directions, even to the house, so I decided to get the higher model the 660 and I hope it is just as good. I feel the Garmin is the best Sat- Nav on the market and would recommend to any one who intends to buy one.

Having had TomTom on my ipaq for the last year I decided to get a dedicated sat nav and was told Garmin were the best. However I was dissaponted in the features and found the unit a lot less user friendly than Tomtom. Because I had problems with the Garmin it was sent back and am waiting for a full refund. I have now bought a Tomtom Go 720 which in my opinion is a far better machine to use although perhaps not so good to look at.

I have now had this GPS for a short while and can say that the discription given is accurate. It does all the things that would be needed on the road. The best is the Bluetooth that allows for hands free calls on the move.Good clear tone and seem to work in all conditions. Great. It is small enough to fit in your pocket for ease of carrying and yet uninstrusive in the car when in use. You dont have to look at the screen as the voice commentry gives you directions that are concise and clear. Speed warnings are a short bleep. Would I buy again? Yes I would. The service AND DISCRIPTION were 100%

Purchased this garmin off ebay for 85.00, I wanted a satnav with bluetooth hands free and this unit doesnt dissapoint.
The maps are brilliant, I recently updated to 2009 maps for free (a lot of searching on the net) It has free lifetime traffic reporting which has helped on at least one occasion and the hands free is very clear even at 70mph. I would definately recommend.

Required a sat nav for travelling in Europe. The Garmin nuvi 660 is far superior to any that I have previously used. Perfect, easy to use, would definately recommend to anyone thinking of buying a sat nav.

Garmin Nuvi 660FMThis works straight out of the box,it was easy to connect up a mobile phone via Bluetooth.The FM side is great as it allows you to use the GPS via your cars stereo.
It has free TMC updates which load quickly on setting up the GPS in the car.
Garmins GPS is very easy to use and gets you to your destination easily without fuss,the text to speech is particully useful as it means you can concentrate on driving not looking at the GPS.
It will be easy to update the maps later via Garmins web site/DVD or SD card.
In all it does what I need with the minimum of fuss.I rate it as Excellent.

All I did was sign up and then completed one simple offer. I recommend the Lovefilm free trial offer as it only takes a few minutes to complete and its only a simple trial!
My personal recommendation is the Coral offer as it is quick, easy and only costs £5.

Brilliant SatNav, good size display, easy to use, got all the bits, which I was looking for in it, like good road layouts, radar warnings, traffic controll and the handfree for my mobile plus many extras. I used it and tried it extendsivly in different country's and it works a dream, despite getting caught in germany twice with a speed camera. So the only thing which could be improved to have either the same standard ie that everything works like in the UK in all the other country's, or at least give it warning about it, saying this or that function does not work in this country you are travelling in. I know it does mention in the book, but not even in the book they got it right, as for example the traffic controll worked in France, even tough the book said that you have to pay extra. :-D

I have used other sat nav's prior to buying this one, but this unit was very versitile and very easy to use. Very clear screen.
If I was to be critical, then I would say that the option to find addresses close to where you are or have been recently, could be made easier, as each time you want to search for an address you have to start from the country onwards each time. allthough this could well be a function that can be ammended via the options page, as I haven't fully explored all of the functions yet.
I do have to say though, that when using this unit in Florida USA, I was returning my hire car to the company at the Airport, and realised that I needed to fill up the tank.
I was already at the "return car" area of a multi-story car park, when I realised this. So I stopped, put in "nearest Petrol Garage", and it showed not only where the nearest Petrol Garage was, but how to get out of the Multi-Story car Park, and follow the one-way system to get out of the Airport - Very Impressive!!!.
Over-all, a very user-friendly product, and good value for money.
