I cant belive how much this man has changed, i was never really a fan in the pop idol days, and the only song i really liked was "say it isnt so".
I have really enjoyed both his recent singles, so thought i would give the album a try, i am not disapointed!
Its a far cry in the right direction from pop idol days, the strengh of his music shows a developed vocal proformance, a rockier edge to some tracks, with sounds of Rod Stewart.
There is something for everyone on this album, and the nice thing about this ablum is that Gareth has written it all, no more cheesey pop or remakes, this is music from the heart.

gareth back to his best.the two best songs are changes...pictures of the other side and angel on my shoulder....some songs not so good electric and 19 minutes but the rest his at his best again...

I never liked Gareth Gates' music back in the Pop Idol days. So it was a pleasant surprise, whilst watching the documentary about him last year, that I realised how he had 'grown up' so to speak. I was really taken with his new material which they showed on this documentary. Then I started to hear his new sound on the music channels and I decided to purchase this cd off of Ebay where I purchase everything of course! I am glad I did as it is really a great sound, quite rocky in parts and also quite relaxing - definitely a life time away from his 'pop idol' days. He has written all the tracks him self (bar one) with some input from others and you can tell the songs are from the heart. I love this cd and hope that his future releases are in the same vein. Definitely worth purchasing as very different from a lot of the main stream stuff currently out there.

I seen Gareth on Graham Norton and loved him instantly. I ordered the CD from the UK and cant stop listening to it. He's fantastic. As you listen each song gets better and better. My favorite is Angel On My Shoulder. I will be ordering his other CDs very soon.

a different cd but really good tracksi decided to buy as it was a different cd from the others and he wrote the songs himself it nice and relaxing something different thats in the charts at the moment so i thought i would buy and it were a goog choice
