My first digital camera was a Fuji Finepix S5000 which I thought was brilliant. The new S8100fd is even better. I upgraded because I wanted a wider angle lens and better image resolution. I particularly chose the S8100fd because it was compact. The telephoto lens is an added bonus and altogether is even a vast improvement over my earlier Pentax film SLR with 200mm telephoto lens. The new big display is also very useful and a great improvement on the earlier model. On the down side the S8100fd seems yet more 'plastic' than the S5000 which in turn seemed far less robust than the old Pentax. Having said all that the S5000 is still in perfect condition after over three years use and I am beginning enjoy the lightweight feel of the new compact S8100fd.

I wanted a new good camera and I can say that I made a good decision. I wanted a camera that could zoom more than just an ordinary digital camera. the fact that it is a bit bigger than ordinary cameras does not bother me! I took Very nice photos with it and I'm completely satisfied!! Recommend it!

) I thought it was a better quality camera but it doesn't do the job I bought it for.I sell jewellery and needed a camera that takes very close up pictures which it was advertised as.
I suspect it is a copy of a Fuji..just don't think it is the same quality as my past Fuji cameras..very disappointed.

Amazing productGreat packaging, amazing delivery! The product was just as described. I was amazed when I found this digital camera at an incomparible price. I'm new to ebay and I couldn't be happier with the result. The package even came earlier then expected, completely sealed with extra items like a 2 GB memory card. Unbelieveble product, will be shopping here again soon!
