Friends - Series 3 - Complete (DVD 2000)

Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Ross (David Schwimmer), Monica (Courteney Cox), Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), and Chandler (Matthew Perry) are back for a third season. During this part of the series, the relationship between Ross and Rachel gets rocky. The collection includes the episodes: \"The One with the Football,\" \"The One Where Rachel Quits,\" \"The One Where Chandler Can't Remember Which Sister,\" \"The One with All the Jealousy,\" \"The One Where Monica and Richard Are Just Friends,\" \"The One with Phoebe's Ex-Partner,\" \"The One Where Ross and Rachel Take a Break,\" and \"The One the Morning After.\"

This third season of Friends brings about the birth of probably the biggest line in Friends history hence the "We were on a break!" title. Once again the Ross and Rachel relationship is at the forefront of this series after Rachel gets a dream job at Bloomingdales and has less and less time to spend with him, Ross ends up thinking Rachel is having an affair with a co-worker and proceeds to cause problems by sending her presents and even a barber shop quartet at her works! This then brings Rachel to ask Ross in the heat of an argument if they can have a break in their relationship to then regret saying it. Ross then sleeps with another woman only for Rachel to find out even though they had got back together. Ross thinks that he's done nothing wrong as they were on a break but Rachel disagrees and finishes the relationship! Ross and Rachels damaged friendship is an integral part of a lot of the episodes.
We also have Monica having a relationship with millionaire Pete Becker until he decides to be the ultimate fighting champion and Chandler dating Janice AGAIN even though he's spent forever trying to get rid of her, finding he does after all really like her, only for her to get back with her husband she's separated from known as the mattress king!
Again, there are a number of great cameos from some famous celebrities. These include Courtney Cox's real-life husband David Arquette who appears as a stalker of Pheobe's twin sister Ursula but ends up stalking Pheobe instead believing her to be Ursula, Ben Stiller who is a date of Rachel's one night and unbeknown to her has a bit of a screw loose and shouts at random people for no reason, Isabella Rossellini who appears as one of Ross's chosen people who he's allowed to have sex with if her ever gets the chance even though he's going out with Rachel and Robin Williams and Billy Crystal who make brief appearances in the coffee house.
Once again, another great series of Friends.
