EBAY IS FLOODED WITH ILLEGAL, POOR QUALITY COPIES AT THE MOMENT WHICH ARE FACTORY PRODUCED IN ASIA.

THEY MASS PRODUCE BOX SETS OF ALL POPULAR TV SERIES, AND SELL THEM CHEAPLY OVER HERE.

THE QUALITY IS POOR - I HAVE SEEN THEM. THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE FALSE ECONOMY.

NOT ONLY ARE THESE BLURRY AND WITH POOR SOUND, THEY ARE ILLEGAL.

MANY INTERNATIONAL GANGS ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FROM THIS SORT OF THING THAN DRUG TRAFFICKING NOWADAYS, SO THINK ABOUT WHERE YOUR MONEY IS REALLY GOING.

LOOK PAST THE EXCUSE THAT THEY ARE JUST CHEAP DVDS, AND IT'S ONLY OUR GOVERNMENT THAT IS MISSING OUT ON TAXES THAT IS THE PROBLEM.

This is an absolute must for all Friends fans. All your favourite episodes in one neat and attractive container. The thing about Friends is that you can watch them over and over again, I know I have - Need to fill 20 mins whilst grabbing a coffee? Then just run your hand down the spines of the 30 dvd's, randomly pick one and enjoy.

Or just watch every single one from beginning to end - watch the characters grow, learn to love all their little habits - feel their emotions - Anyway I love them and if you give them a chance I am sure you will too.

Friends is a great show, funny with great story lines. Over the ten series we get to know all the characters very well. This set of DVDs is well worth having, easy to find and play an episode, its a lovely set.

Do not buy from anyone unless they are paypal registered. I thought I was buying full set of friends and arranged bank transfer of money. The item has not been recieved and this woman does not reply to e-mails. i have raised a dispute through e-bay. This has completely put me off buying from e-bay. It is alot of money - I just hope e-bay will re-imburse me with my hard earned money!!

i paid £70 for my friends box set for my girlfriends birthday ive waited 5 weeks and it still hasn't arrived im never using ebay again what a scam if you read this i want my money back asap or i will take actions into my own hands

do not buy from this person you will not recieve your purchase i had to put in a complaint and a claim to recieve my money back

I bought this box set, or at least a facsimile of it from an Ebay trader, he claimed to be a UK seller....the goods took weeks to come.........from China! That prompts the question "since when has China been part of the UK?" The quality was frankly rubbish, the episodes had been overly compressed on poor quality copies. I threw it in the bin.

I then bought it again from Amazon.com as they had it on special offer at just a tad under £100 including postage.

I wont go into great detail about the show, it is simply and unquestionably one of the best sitcoms ever made either side of the Atlantic Ocean.

My favourite episode is "Holiday Armadillo" which is a hoot from start to finish, but all of the episodes are brilliant and well worth the money.....but.......Like I said at the beginning..........

im not gonna bore you with the concept of the show... im sure most of you no, it is really funny. but the DVDs dont have many features on (most have none). so you will be buying the show only, and not many/if any featres. which is really disapointing. :-(

FINALLY all the series in one great big box set - There is a god. I've been hooked since Rachael came running into Central Perk in her wedding dress right until Chandler and Monica had twins. Desperate Housewives, lost and various other series have come since the last days of Friends, but none can top it in my opinion.
I've laughed at Joey's sweet stupidity, Phoebe's ditzy craziness, Monica's obsessive cleanliness, Ross' sensible dedication, Chandler's sense of humour and Rachael's daddies little girl act. But don't be fooled - You WILL cry too. The whole on/off Ross and Rachael thing, Phoebe giving up the triplets and Monica and Chandler unable to have children of their own, too many to mention!
This series box set is well worth the money - If you want to own a piece of history and own the best series ever to come around - get this one!

I've been watching Friends pretty much since it first came out in 1994. I remember my mum sat me down with me on the settee on Friday night and said to me 'watch this, I think you'll like it'. And I've loved it ever since, it's always been my favourite programme. I bought all the videos when they first came out, then all the individual DVDs and finally this 10 series box set (I know, I'm a bit mental!) so I'm going to tell you about it.
Friends is probably one of the biggest, if not the biggest, television phenomenon of the 1990's and early 00's. Set in Manhatten, New York, this American comedy sitcom follows the lives of six friends in their mid 20's (at the start of the series) to their late 30's (at the end of the series).
Characters...
Okay, well we've got Rachel Greene (played by Jennifer Aniston). At the start of the series she is a spoilt snob who has spent her life living off her daddy's credit cards. She was going to get married but left her fiancé at the alter after realising that wasn't what she wanted. She went to seek help (and then starts to live with) her old friend from college, Monica Gellar.
Monica Gellar is played by Courtney Cox (now Courtney Cox-Arquette). Monica is a compulsive neat freak. She is a chef and has a brother called Ross Gellar.
Ross Gellar is played by David Schwimmer. Ross is a palaeontologist (that's dinosaur stuff to you and me!) who became divorced from his first wife after she discovered she was a lesbian. Ross also liked Rachel while she was going to college with Monica and throughout the series Ross and Rachel get together, break up and various other things. Ross is also friends with his old college roommate Chandler Bing.
Chandler Bing is played by Matthew Perry. Chandler's a sarcastic and witty person who is always making jokes. He becomes roommates with Joey Tribbiani.
Joey Tribbiani is played by Matt Le Blanc. Joey is an actor who is very good with the ladies but is a bit…..innocent (or stupid as some people might prefer to say!)
Our sixth character is Phoebe Buffay (played by Lisa Kudrow) who used to be Monica's roommate before Rachel. She is a dizzy, zany person who sings songs and plays guitar (and her songs are a treat to enjoy).
Rachel and Monica live in the apartment opposite Joey and Chandler and Ross and Phoebe are always over meaning you've almost always got 2 or more or all of your Friends together.
Also, one thing you have to mention when talking about Friends is their local coffee shop 'Central Perk' where they're always meeting up and having a good chat and laugh together.
Throughout the series, as with life, circumstances change, relationships blossom and disappear and plenty of entertaining situations present themselves! I'd go into more detail but if you haven't watched the series it would only spoil it for you.
The DVD set consists of 30 discs which has on all 10 series of Friends. The only thing that riles me up is that the discs are dual sided (since I'm the kind of person who just pulls a disc out of the player and chucks it to the side, I could easily lose track of my discs).The packaging looks fantastic and if you're a hard core Friends fan it's something you'll really want even though you know there's no good reason for it!
It's funny-I mean REALLY funny. I love the characters and every episode makes me kill myself laughing. I seriously cannot understand how anyone could not like the show and think that at the price it's at now, it's worth paying out!

This boxset contains every single episode ever aired, with many extra sections to scenes that are normally cut from television-screenings - even the most diehard fan will find something new in each series. This set is in fact smaller than one VHS series (or at least my Series 7) and the only complication with it is remembering that each disc actually has 2 sides, labelled A and B.

I would recommend this for anyone - Friends can appeal to anyone, and it is wonderful to watch the progression of characters and plots from Series 1 to 10. Just bear in mind that, if you do buy this set, you might have a lot less time on your hands for doing anything else!!

This box set has each dvd in its own plastic case and is better than the red version which stores each DVD in a card case.
If you love Friends buy this set!!

i actually cried when friends ended it is the best tv show ever and will probably be forever. fantastic box set. BUY IT!!

It is such a shame that Friends had to come to end, I think that they could have done so many more years. Well even though they are not being made anymore, you can get this great boxset, including the whole 10 series!

The 6 actors, all have their own greatness, and there is bound to be at least one of them that you can relate to in some way, or just find them so funny. It is great to watch them over and over and see Chandler with his non-stop jokes, Monica with her obssession with cleaning, Rachel and her crying, Ross and his lectures, Phoebe with her weirdness and Joey with his adorable stupidity.

This is truely an amazing DVD Boxset that you must buy! If the regular cast and humour isn't enough, just get it and play spot the celebrity, as there have been many many faces from show business that have guest starring roles.

I'd love to write a review about this item. I'd love to say it was a fantastic purchase and I have enjoyed watching it. But I never received it. and I never got all my money back for it. So I can't.

In my eyes anyone that hasnt seen Friends must be absolutely crazy. Having seen the show hundreds of times on TV I found it easier for me to purchase the full collection so I can enjoy the Friends experience over and over again when ever i feel like watching. Popular in the throughout the world there are not many people than can actually say they have never seen an episode and not enjoyed it!

I love the presentation of the whole set. The box is a unique design and it wouldn't look out of place in any modern design room.
The series are clearly separated in their own boxes and the whole collection is made more compact due to the double sided discs.
It's great because I don't have to search through all of my DVDs when I want to watch friends because they're all in one place!
The diplay box is very sturdy so it's great for taking to a friends house to watch.
All the information you need to know about each series is on the sleeves and each DVD has information about the all the episodes the back of the box.
Each disc has roughly 8 episodes on it and each series has three discs.
I love the slimline cases for each DVD as we don't have much room left for standard size DVD boxes in our collection.
I decided to buy this item because I've always loved the programme and I've been looking for some time to see what the best price for each series was, but when I found the whole box set for under £80 I couldn't believe it, so I bought it straight away!
I would recommend watching the extras on the final disc as well, especially if you like outtakes because as you would expect they're pretty damn funny!
I'll never get tired of watching any of this box set!

i have always wanted to own Friends on DVD but wanted to wait till all the series were available in one box. Friends is one of those Tv programmes that you can watch anytime and any episode. In the high street, the box sets were expensive and was happy to see the bargain on E Bay. As the box was sold as new, i was happy to see it was still in its wrapper. Unfortunately, whether it was damaged in the post or was previously in that condition, the box itself was dented on the corner. I believe the box could have been packaged more safely to ensure such damage is lessened.
