Friday the 13th part 7 really dissapointed me so I wasn't looking forward to the 8th film, But I was wrong the 8th film was truly outstanding.I liked it because all the cool stuff happens in New York and its nice to get away from the camp for a little while.I also like the film cause its the longest one and it is set in 3 different places it starts in Camp Crystal lake then Jason sets sail on a ship then stops at New York.The First 15 or 20 minutes might get you bored but the rest of the film is enjoyable.
I have rated this film 4 stars cause it does have a few ridiculous scenes including the part where the boxing feller punches Jason about 5o times and gets tired and tells Jason to take his best shot and Jason punches his head clean off and it lands in a dumpster.

Classic!
) This film is one of the utimate slasher movies, Jason is a non stop psycho of epic proportions. In my opinionn this includes one of the best death scenes ever put to celluloid. I don't want to spoil it but "take your best shot" are the key words to listen out for.
Mindless slasher film that beats most others by never pretending to be anything else.
Watch this as a bench mark for all other friday 13th movies in my opinion probably the best.

Great to see Jason againJason returns AGAIN lol, in this great movie which see's him for the first time in any Friday 13th movie, he heads for the streets of Manhattan clung onto the side of a travelling boat of students, the blood shed starts while aboard the boat, with some well thought out death scenes, once the left over cast land on shore in Manhattan, blood shed continues as usuall, including a great scene with Jason up against a boxing champions, great ending to the scene with the boxers head being punched clean off and landing in a garbage bin....a must for any Jason fan (like me) much better than some of the previous Friday films, and better then most of the ones after it....
