This translator will help a great deal while im traveling around the interior of Spain, where people dont speak English. It will also help when Im travelling through France.

i bought this for my dad for xmas as he goes over to france quite a lot but speaks very limited french. with this, you type in what you wish to say in english and it translates it for you. the best bit is even if your spelling in english isn't too clever it guesses what you wish to say by how the word you typed in sounds. so if you type the word 'wen' it will know you want to say 'when'! fantastic!

It is good thing to have when you go in holiday in Europe I dislike because it takes to long to get to the word you need to know.I decided to buy it, to practice my french.

Although there are far more expensive translators on the market with sound, I found this quite useful during a recent visit to Alsace.
I can just about get by in French but do not know any German, so the translator came in very helpful when we crossed the border. The language spoken in Alsace tends to be a mixture of two languages, although admittedly many residents do speak English.
Initially I thought I should be using it to translate English into German / French but soon realised that it was just as useful when reading signs in shop windows etc.,translating back into English.
I am very pleased that I bought it and after the initial 'getting the hang' of the buttons, I soon found out the quickest ways of using it.
Considering I got it at a bargain price, I have no complaints about it at all.
