Electricall it is quite good but mechanically is very poor.The key/buttons constantly get caught under the facia because they are too thin.I'm not too keen on the highlight box as it makes it dificult to read the first letter of words such as b, p, h etc.It's not the easiest thing to open either. Previously I had the MDQ-210 model which was excelent(alas now unobtainable)but the DMQ-450 does fall short.

I bought this item to use it in my everyday life. As a Hungarian in England, I found and still find it very useful looking up the words I do not know. The dictionary works properly, its vocabulary (250.000 words + 800.000 synonyms) is quite extended. The menu is easy to use, but looking up for words sometimes seems to be a bit slow. But the other way I would offer it to everybody who needs some help in the language studying.
