What can i say?....This is the great man at his finest. You can always measure quality by the company it keeps and this awesome voice is right up there. Music fans should need no introduction to Frankie Miller, once described by Rod Stewart as, "the greatest white singer ever",
Frankie had nine chart albums between 72 and 86 including the hits ‘Be Good To Yourself’ and ‘Darlin’ . He is one of the legends of the British music scene, with the likes of Joe Cocker, Etta James, Cher, The Bellamy Brothers, Johnny Cash, Bob Seger and Ray Charles, covering his songs.
This killer CD has two cover versions, "He'll Have To Go" the Jim Reeves standard,
and "The Rose" as made famous by Bette Midler in the film of the same name. It also has Joe Walsh,
and Nicky Hopkins to name but two great players.
All recorded between 1991 and 1997 the songs are delivered with real soul, passion and flair.
Give it up for one of Scotland's finest! Be blown away by the voice. Be mesmerised by the songwriting.
