I bought this as I've just re-read all the books.
The film in itself is ok but, NOTHING like the book.
Because of this I was very dissapointed with the ending of the film.
If you have not read the books then you may enjoy the film better.

) This for me is an 'ironing dvd'...every Saturday I do my ironing and it is the most tedious job! so now i am in the habit of having a DVD to watch to help alleviate the tedium. I loved this dvd. I read the Trilogy many years ago and literally could not put the books down. When I bought the dvd I really did not think it would match the book well but I was wrong. The film was fab! exactly how I remember the book and an absolute 'must watch'. There were tears shed, which did not help with the task in hand, but a good weep is good for the soul! A great film for the ladies.
