IT IS A POOR STATE OF AFFAIRS WHEN THE TRAILER IS THE BEST THING ABOUT A FILM. THE GRIEVING MS. FOSTER 'LOSES' HER DAUGHTER ON A PLANE FULL OF PASSENGERS, AND NO ONE BELIEVES HER. MORE HOLES THAN A SWISS CHEESE - NOT ONE PASSENGER OR CREW MEMBER SAW THE CHILD ( HAVE YOU EVER FLOWN ? TRY TO GET ON WITHOUT BEING SEEN OR NOTICED, WHAT ABOUT THE CHECK-IN DESK? ), THE COFFIN WASN'T X-RAYED (WHY NOT?), WHY WHEN THE PILOT CONTACTED THE EMBASSY WAS HE TOLD THE DAUGHTER WAS DEAD WHEN ONLY THE MORGUE ASSISTANT WAS IN ON THE PLOT? - AND SUDDENLY THE KIDNAPPERS GIRLFRIEND GETS A HEART AND JUST WALKS AWAY FROM THE PLANE. TERRIBLE.

A fantastic thriller staring a fantastic attress Jodie frost. She is just as good in this as in Panic Room, and this give you the same adrelinine rush as Panic Room. A highly recommended film, add it to your collection NOW!.

Well always wanted to buy the film, sounded brilliant . Big fan of Jodie Foster and sean Bean.Such a bargain when I saw it on ebay.But!!! It has to be said , if anyone HAD SEEN the daughter, there realy would of been no film.

My family and I really enjoyed this movie, didn't know how it was going to end untill it actually ended. What can I say about Jodie Foster, she is a star and really kept us gripped to our seats. I was scared to leave my seat just in case i missed anything. The actions and the story lines were brilliant, I will definitely watch it again. A must for anyone wanting a good story.

Interesting film with a good plot. Certainly one of the better films produced in the last year. Good acting

When I first saw a trailer for this movie I was hooked. I'll not spoil your enjoyment by revealing the storyline, but the central premise is that a recently widowed mother (played by Jodie Foster) loses her daughter during their flight home, but no-one on board remembers seeing the little girl...
Regrettably, I didn't get to see the movie in the cinema, but was delighted to purchase the DVD on eBay shortly after its release. The DVD I received had a different cover from the usual UK versions (probably an American import), but I didn't mind, as the disk and packaging were in mint condition, and I got it for a good price! As I watched 'Flightplan', I was gripped by the unfolding story, and of course there were a few twists along the way. As for the ending... well, why not get your hands on a copy of 'Flightplan', and find out for yourself? You won't be disappointed!

Brilliant movie, will keep you wondering all the way through the film, great twist! Another Jodie Foster classic! if you liked Red Eye and Panic Room you will love this too! get it!

I saw this at the cinema and enjoyed it so a year later i wanted to watch it again. No doubt i will lend it out and watch it again in a year or two.
It's quite exciting because you don't know if the main character is going mad or not. The ending is not brilliant but i like the main bit.

This is a quality action thriller film! It has it all but the best thing about this film is the suspense, it will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

Great thriller. Jodie Foster plays a great role in this film. One not to miss and is well worth watching again. Great effects and a good overall film.

This was a very exciting film, and was enjoyed by us very much. We decided to buy it as Jodie Foster stars in it, and is usualy very good, we were not disappointed. Kept you in suspence and had a good twist at the end. Great viewing.

good film - a bit slow in places but keeps you guessing all the way. good acting and a good sunday afternoon film. watch it if you can.

Bought this for my dad as he was looking to buy it anyway. Great film to watch with friends or family. It has been watched by my family and friends, as we had recomended it. They have all enjoyed it. Keeps you wondering who the suspect is right till the end.

In this film it’s the suspense that gets a grip on you, and the suspense does all the film. Right with the first images you’re hooked. You don’t know what’s going on, you don’t know what’s going to happen, and it goes like that a long way, and it’s more and more weird and disturbing. For a long time you’re left with guessing, and you won’t get it right. The directing seems a bit young and there are little blips of credibility, but the action is good enough, you can pass on them.

It’s not exactly a thriller and not an action movie: the suspense does all the job (think of ‘Panic Room’). Jodie Foster puts a lot into it, and even though I don’t find her too credible, her performance is still remarkable and does the job fine.

To sum it up: a weird suspense is all you get, but it’s neatly embroidered and will hook you all the way through.

I loved this film. I saw the trailer when it was released in the cinema but never found out anything about it or read anything about it. I'd recommend this so as not to spoil the experience of watching it for the first time. At last I saw the movie and it is a good thriller, with some good acting. The story is easy to follow and I won't spoil the end but you'd never guess it in a million years.

I bought this film, as I really enjoyed it in the cinema and want to be able to watch it time and time again.

I think it is brilliant, and probably the best film set in the sky that I have ever seen.

Bought it because Foster consistently stars in good quality films - I was not disappointed with this one!! Recommend it to anyone.

First off, I loved "Panic Room" and Jodie Foster's performance in it. When I first saw the looks of this film, I was very intrigued and thought it was going to be a "The Forgotten 2"....i was very wrong.

What starts off is with Jodie Foster playing a mourning mother after the death of her husband. Her and her daughter catch a flight to go stay with Foster's grandparents, however, after Jodie's character falls asleep, the daughter is gone....and to make matters worst, she is told that she never existed...

Sounds like a good premise eh? Well that's what infused me to go and see it. It starts off well but once the daughter goes missing, it went downhill. Jodie's performance throughout is good, not Oscar worthy but it is one of the highlights of the film (as well as the ever-cool Sean Bean.) Unfortunately I can't go into great depth of anything else of the story because of spoilers, but I will say that the ending plot is horrible, totally impossible and so therefore ruins the impact of the film and its good beginning.

There are also a lot of other things that annoy me about the film, to cut a long list short here are some examples: - a brilliant, new state of the art plane...and there's hardly anyone on board.

- Foster's character, although confused and frustrated does get annoying after a bit, and seeing as w're meant to identify and sympathise with her, is not a good thing.

- The overall twist / ending plot is ridiculous, as I stated before.

My vote is 6/10....go see the film for the enjoyment of Jodie Foster and some thrills. however, do not expect a masterpiece..because this is FAR from great.

Starts off as a brilliant film full of intrigue but when it gets half way through it just goes off the boil and has a very boring ending infact quite silly and very twee!
