A stroll down memory lane for some.

This is one of those CD albums some people call a Golden oldie
Well they don’t come much older than Flanagan and Allen.
This is an archive recording digitally enhanced. This means that the original version had some distortions and background noise, which a technician has tried to smooth over, patch up and generally make it sound better. Digitally enhancement can only do so much and no matter how good the technician or their equipment is the CD can only ever be patched up. Don’t let that put you off. The background noise and minor distortions are exactly how the first generation of listeners would have heard this music over their old valve radios. In a way it adds to the nostalgia of the album. This is a CD for reviving the memories of an older relative or friend; it’s not the sort of CD that is going to acquire a whole bunch of new listeners.
Great for a stroll down memory lane for the older listener, but not one for the younger and more adventurous generation. Your old auntie or uncle will love it, but anyone below 60 may have a different opinion.
