) Two great films from Clint Eastwood , they make you think but are entertaining at the same time.
" Flags " shows battle from the American side but also the aftermath and pressure of the US heroes when they got home.
"Letters" shows both the cruel and compassionate side of some ordinary soldiers and officers in the Japanese Arm facing inevitable defeat at Iwo Jima.
The two films compliment each other.
