Fishing For Beginners - Fly Fishing (DVD)

I bought the DVD for my husband because he is learning how to fly fish as a hobby, when i saw it on ebay i thought i'd give it a go, it was my first purchase from ebay and i was very happy with the service i received from the seller.

If you know absolutely nothing about fly fishing then this is for you.
The first part takes you through the process of setting up your rod and line in very easy to understand steps and is very well presented with no assumption of previous knowledge.
The next section shows you the basics of fly fishing, the "how to" bit. It doesn't tell you how to learn to cast but it's probably best to get tuition for that art! It does show you where to cast and the finer points though.
The last section to me was a little more on the "how not to" in places. All knowledge is good and this is an ideal video for the beginner.

really good product! great to watch as a begginer so much easier than reading it! very very happy with it. would thoughrly recommend this for any one thinking of taking up fly fishing like me.

in its own right a good fishing dvd, but it was bought for a total beginner, and this was suppose to be for a beginner, but would say it was more for a novice, didnt show a beginner how to get started with tying on flys,casting,the full steps basically on how to start off , they dont really explain what they are talking about, so as a beginner you would be lost, it wasnt sutable for the purpose that we bought it for,was really dissapointed, but like i said at the start someone who has a basic knowledge this dvd is fine, but not for a beginner that is totally starting out in fly fishing.

ACE DVD EVERY THING YOU NEED TO KNOW, TECHNIQUES THE WORKS GREAT INFO WELL PUT. CAN'T STOP OFF TO PRACTICE AND CATCH DINNER.

IT SHOWED CLEARLY TIPS FOR BEGINNERS IN REFERENCE TO THE PRESENTATION OF THE FLY BUT DIDNT TOUCH ENOUGH ON THE MAIN POINT FOR BEGINNERS THAT IS CASTING.

Bought this DVD as partner is just starting to fly fish and needed help with setting up etc (I'm not good at teaching lol), if you too are just starting out or even just need to update your skills then this is the MUST HAVE DVD for your collection!!
As with any fishing DVD with the name Liam Dale involved it is wonderfully filmed and presented by all involved.
Especially worth a mention is the setting up of your reel and fly lines etc, they are really well explained and the close up filming helps you every step of the way.
You really should buy this DVD, invaluable to every beginner, you will not regret it!!

I brought this for my nephew as he as just starting to get interested in fly fishing I would recommend this DVD for a beginner a lot of info to get you started fantastic Recommended.

i brought this because i am just starting out with fly fishing and needed to get as much info as possible. this dvd had some very helpful tips and hints on how to set up your fly line and leader which i'm sure i will use. i do recomend this for a beginner as it is back to basics.
