This has to be one of my favourite films of all time. It is simply beautiful. I adore it.
The characters are amazing, the voices superb and the storyline are immence.
Out of all the cartoon films around this is far and away the best of the lot. I loved it !!!
Plot - A tale which follows the comedic and eventful journeys of two fish, the fretful Malin and his young son Nemo, who are separated from each another in the Great Barrier Reef when Nemo is unexpectedly taken from his home, and thrust into a fish tank in a dentist's office overlooking Sydney Harbor. Buoyed by the companionship of a friendly but forgetful fish named Dory, the overly cautious Malin embarks on in a dangerous trek and finds himself the unlikely hero of an epic journey to rescue his son. Meanwhile the young Nemo hatches a few daring plans of his own to return home safely.
This DVD is so fun to watch! I actually think it is the first Pixar movie to have the traditional feel of a Disney movie. It combines the elements of classic Disney movies with the elements that made Pixar so successful (amazing computer animation, great writing.) Finally, we have a kChildrens film in 2003 that grownups can enjoy with or without their kids. I liked Finding Nemo so much that I saw it twice, and it was just as enjoyable the second time around. Pixar really has the pulse of what works. They pick a great vocal cast, and employ the best writers. Some people think that computer animation will take over traditional animation as the leading moneymaking animation force. While computer animation looks cool, the reason they are a hit is the talent of the voices and the writing. Traditional animation could do just as well if they had that. Buy this for your children you’ll have a fishy good time! Thanks William
this film is brilliant for the kids to watch. it has lots of bright colours and that is easy to please any child plus. talking fish how wrong could it be? my kids love it.
Its great, and good for kids. Even big kids.........................................................................................................................................
Disney pixars best film here, the little fish gets taken by a diver, dad goes to rescue him with the forgetful lady fish FANTASTIC. If i've sat and watched one of my nasty horror films i always watch Finding Nemo after to put my back in a normal frame of mind (LOL) Brillint film!!!
a plain TERRIBLE film, without a single likeable character in it. poor plot, terrible voice acting, crap animation quality, and purely HATEABLE main characters, particularly the whiny nemo, the disgustingly pathetic doris, (suffering from alzheimers it would seem), and marlin, the steriotypical single father, a disgrace to man-ki...i mean fish-kind everywhere. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE, THIS FILM IS ABYSMAL. NOT EVEN A SPOILT 5 YEAR OLD CHILD WOULD STOMACH THIS GARBAGE
This has to be one of my favourite films of all time. It is simply beautiful. We adored it i think me more then my kids did *laughs*
The characters are amazing, the voices superb and the storyline are immence it's just wonderful.

I am a massive Disney fan. From Snow White to Toy Story I do not believe there to be a Disney film I have not yet enjoyed. However, a few Disney films just stand out from others and Finding Nemo is one of those films. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry but best of all it makes you want to watch it again and again. I have 2 children aged 5 and 10. Due to the age difference they rarely agree and a film to watch together. My youngest will want Cinderella my eldest will want to watch pirates of the Caribbean, thankfully Finding Nemo will not only cease all bickering it will also bring smiles to both their faces. And this film is just as enjoyable to watch for adults. The humour is fantastic, the characters are brilliant, especially Dory, a friendly and hospitable Regal Blue Tang. She would love to chat with you all day and tell you her life story... but she can’t. Dory suffers from short term memory loss. Dory is the aquatic Good Samaritan who offers to help Marlin, Nemo’s father, on his journey to find his son. She is certainly an odd partner for such a quest, but her optimism proves an invaluable quality to help Father overcome the impossible. To Dory, the glass is always half-full. Watch this film and enjoy, and then watch it again and enjoy it even more. I dare dislike this film and its adorable characters.
This is a fantastic movie, with humour for kids and parents!!! Well worth owning!!! The detail for example; the fur on Sully is so realistic you have to remember you are watching an animation and not real life!!
This is a lovely film which my children and I very much enjoy. It's so colorful and easy to watch even my baby daughter will sit and watch this lovely film. Nemo is a great character that i believe children can relate to and his dad i feel adults will relate. Over all this film i could watch again and again.
Finding Nemo was always one of my favourite animated movies and we decided to buy our own copy when our son watched it approx. 10 times while flying from NZ to the UK. A life saver! Excellent entertainment for all the family.
Finding nemo i a beautifully animated feature film with a charming story line that touches the heart of all who watch it. The colorful pictures, wonderful characters and delightful innocence makes it a film suitable for family groups to watch together without the cringe factor. My only problem with the film is, as I had bought it for my two and a half year old daughter, I was not prepared for the questions that came in the beginning when coral (nemo's mum) is killed protecting her eggs. Otherwise I would strongly recommend it as a must see for all. Favourite bits would have to be the 'on the wagon' sharks group and the brilliant way a seagulls cry sounds like 'mine'. enjoy
Thank goodness for grandaughters or I would neverhave been introduced to this all time "feel good" film. I saw it at a P.T.A. Film evening at the Primary Scoool and was hooked. I bought it on Video and we have spent many rainy afternoons "Finding Nemo" and laughing together. At last I have it on DVD so they can even view it on long journeys on their portable DVD player. It is my all time favourite.Suitable for all ages, especially 70 year olds who sometimes need cheering up.
My little boy loves this flim, if you are viewing for the 103rd time highly recommed watching on a HDTV and up scaling DVD player, the fish have scales!!
great film, bought it for my little boy as a birthday present, has humour suitable for all ages, touching at funny at times, a much loved film to begin my 2 year olds disney collection.
You could trawl the seven seas and not net a funnier, more beautiful, and more original work of art and comedy than Finding Nemo, the dazzling new computer-animated adventure about a fishy father and son that furthers Pixar Animation Studios' record streak of excellence. Fins and scales are a logical next step, I suppose, for moviemakers who previously romped so joyously with toys, bugs, and monsters. But nothing -- including what felt like a year's worth of teasers I regularly ignored at the multiplex -- prepared me for the elation evoked by a neurotically cautious, bright-orange-and-white-striped clownfish named Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks) and his considerably bolder son, Nemo (9-year-old Alexander Gould, already a pro from his work on ''Ally McBeal''), as each swims his own hero's journey.
I watched this several years ago and gave up on it but now I can't think why I didn't like it. I watched it recently with my small children and we all loved it - we'd just started watching 'Cars' which someone had lent to us and my childen had found that film baffling and frenetic ('too much racing!') and then we turned to Nemo which, by contrast, was beautiful with jewel-like colours and characters that we really cared about - we really WANTED the fish in the tank to escape! We also really liked the Ice Age films!
LOve the story & animation & music. The fact that it is set in Sydney is wonderful and it has humour and lots of hidden messages & lessons you can explain to your children as the story goes along. It isnt harmful, has no swearing or violence and teaches children all about how to love the ocean and all the underwater creatures that the ocean presents. My son loves it, asks for it every day and it also chills him out, even though there's scary parts to it.
this is a great and funny film to watch and well worth watchin again thats why i bought the dvd because this film will never get old unless u watch it everyday.
This is a classic modern disney film, i bought this for my two year old daughter and absolutely loves it. fantastic colours and graphics and the story is so heart felt. decided to buy from ebay because the price was good and that ment i could buy another film for her to enjoy.....
