Fight Club (DVD 2004)

Fight Club is a stunning and brilliant film about the mind-numbing meaninglessness that traps so many in our consumerist society. The unnamed central character, played by Edward Norton, is looking for a way to escape, and that's when he meets Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) who, amongst other things, introduces him to the simple joys of fighting. Through the Fight Club they establish, he is able to feel alive again, but there is a lot more to Tyler than meets the eye... Superbly shot and directed, with excellent performances from all the main actors (particularly Pitt, Norton and Helena Bonham Carter), this atmospheric and psychological film is one of the best things to come out of Hollywood in recent years.

Look out for the 'mini' Brad Pitt's that are there for a split second on the bottom right hand side of your screen, they appear approx 5 times througout the film. Also a fantastic role 'Bob' played by Meatloaf.

BEWARE....you will have to watch this film more than once....and probably immediately after the first time you watch it so make sure you have either a whole afternoon or evening free!!! Brad Pit....YUMMY...enough said and what a fantastic story. All I can say is ENJOY.

great acting, great storyline, the action is good. Mostly a guys film but i have known some girls to watch it and like it....if you like an action packed film that makes you think and keeps you at the edge of your seat through the whole film then this is a must!

This has got to be the best film with the best twist on the planet (along with the Sixth Sense) This has everything from the emotion felt hearing Meat Loafs story to the action/violence of the fights themselves
The transition of Ed Norton from normal run of the mill dweeb to fighting monster is sheer class
Fine acting from both the main characters and a great support cast makes this one to own!!!!!
