Have seen this film on TV loads of times, but had to get it on DVD. Quite simply magnificent. Bruce Willis plays the downtrodden Joe whose life is transformed when Mila Jovovich drops into his airborne taxicab. A 'life and death of the universe' struggle ensues with hilarious comic scenes. Gary Oldman is suitably sinister as the bad guy (along with the global military) and Chris Tucker gives a storming performance as the camper-than-a-row-of-pink-tents Ruby Rock, TV presenter and compere. Costumes are Jean-Paul Gaultier at his most unrestrained. Lots of shooting, comedy and laughs, Luc Besson's direction gives the film a cracking pace. One to watch again and again...
