The Fifth Element (DVD 1999)

The acting in this film is second to none and the story line keeps you glued to the end.There is nothing about the film i did'nt like.It has been shown on tv a few times and i watch it every time.Then i decided it was time i bought it for myself.If you have'nt seen it yet you really should put it on your to do list.Bruce Willis is qiute funny in it (of course he gets the girl in the end).Some parts of the film are really funny.Go on,what are you waiting for?Watch it today.Many thanks for reading my guide.

This film was worthwile watching, i would reccomend it as a good buy. Not a 5/5 but its close to that... a good watch at 4/5

loved this film ,another damn funny film with Bruce Willis in it,,the other fave i have is Hudson Hawk....
Brucey baby does a fine rendition of a futuristic special forces officer brought out of retirement to fight for the good of the universe not just the world
ian holm plays a great part in this ,if you loved him in Alien as the android that goes mental then your gonnna love the funny turnaround in this character
loved the film when i saw it in the flix and had to have it..
lee Evans plays a good ships crew who craps himself lol and the soundtrack is superb,,very ethnic and thumpy...i suspect the ideas may have came from the 200ad comis that was out years ago...what gives it away is the over whelming height of the buildings where down means down and the police uniforms are practically an influence from this comic.loved it

Makes a pleasant change to see Bruce willis with a lighter side to his acting career, maybe he will do some more

i love this film and bruce willis! i did have it on vhs but need to sart having then on dvd now. it was delivered quickly and was very happy about it

The Fifth Element is a strange film. Bizarre in its story, and they way it is portrayed. It tell sthe story of Bruce Willis as taxi driver in the future.
A strange alien crashes into his cab, and changes his life forever.
All done with great humour, this film is loved by my kids.

i decided to buy this DVD because i watched it once on sky and really liked it. the actors and actresses all play there part well and i enjoyed every minute of it.

I've seen this film so many times, and never get board of it, the story-line along with the great hummor makes this film a modern classic. I'd never seen anything like it at the time, and the special effects like the flying cars in the sky made the film look far fetched, but believable.

The Fifth Element is a visual feast that all the family will enjoy. There is a love story, its action packed, there are strange creatures from different planets and as such there is something for everyone. The director Luc Besson is now recognised and respected and this is arguably his greatest film. Every time I watch the fifth element I enjoy it more and more.

A must for all Si-Fi fans!! If you like Si-Fi or a good action this film most definitely delivers! Great acting, amazingly shot!

Woman with orange hair is helps after breaking his taxi.
They go into space, they come back, everybody is happy.

Its very good as it had a very fast delivery to me and i love the movie and have always been looking at for the movie. Thank you!

I think The Fifth Element is the movie I have seen the most... It is a perfect mixture of action and comedy, science-fiction, suspense and romance. Set in a not so far future, the eternal battle between good and evil is shown to us in an extravagant setting. Flying cars, aeroplanes that go at the speed of light, weird creatures and ugly aliens are only a few things that are present during this film. The story has never been seen before : Good has only one weapon to defeat evil; it is composed of four stones representing the four element (water, earth, fire and air) and a perfect creature. These five elements have to be united before the forces of evil arrive to earth. But evil has found help and the stones have disappeared. Bruce Willis (one of the best action actors of our time....i just love Brucie....lol), Milla Jovovich, Ian Holm and Gary Oldman make the suspense even more intense. Chris Tucker is incredibly funny and he adds a lot to the comic side of the film. The story is extremely imaginative and is, in my opinion, one of Luc Besson's best. I have never seen anything else quite like it. The costumes, designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier, are unbelievably imaginative and fun. They are a big part of the extravaganza and originality of the movie. The score, by Eric Serra (one of my favourites) is simply a work of art. And last but not least, the special effects are absolutely excellent, adding to the quality of the movie. If you are looking for action and a good laugh, this is the film to see. But the actors are not the only things that make this film worth seeing.

One of the greatest sci-fi films ever. Bruce Willis acts well, though his bright orange vest that he wears throughout the film looks so damn out of place on him. Mila Jovovich acts superbly, as does Gary Oldman. The settings and general atmosphere are superb and are almost as good as Ridley Scott's atmosphere in Blade Runner. Coupled with a superb 'futuristic' soundtrack, and well coordinated action sequences, this film is, in my opinion a sci-fi classic and one of my favourite films. Pure brilliance!

An absolutely brilliant movie - I can watch The Fifth Element over and over again and enjoy it each time.

i loved this film long before i became mesmorised by the gorgeous mj,the film itself is out of this world but milla brings that sexy side to it,multi pass...quality and big badda boom legends in our life time

pretty cool sci fi film, i brought it as it's one of those films i'd seen loads of times so i thought i'd better buy it!

an exelent film in all areas it has action,comedy,and love but its because of those features that its a fantastic film with an exelent story.

Again, Had this on video and had to get it on DVD. A great film. Good story line, great effects. Some great acting as well. I Love this film!!!

This film is funny, sad, exciting, lots of surprises, lots of gun play and every time you watch it you find something that has been missed.
As you can probably tell we love it.
