Sting - Fields Of Gold (The Best Of Sting 1984-1994) (CD 1994)

This is one of those timeless CD's that you really must have in your collection. Sting has one of those voices that can carry you through the different moods offered from each of the tracks. There is not one song that I can say is poor, all brilliant in there own right. I just need to add that I am not a Sting groupie but bought the album for his version of Fields of Gold but found myself enjoying all there is to offer.

I just love the title song -[Fields of Gold] and have been looking for it for some time. Quality item.

If you are a fan of Sting then this album is worth getting. It consists of his best songs from between 1984 and 1994. I recommend it highly.

This is a really good album for chilling out, it's the definition of 'easy listening'. It's good background music for dinner parties and so on - yet you find that every so often people will stop talking and hum along or say 'I love this song'.

I'm not a big Sting or Police fan, but bought this after seeing him perform on TV. I was very impressed. There are a few songs I know, and many which I don't - but I have enjoyed getting to know them all. It is definitely more focussed on quiet laid-back tunes, but this is what I wanted. I can't say I was disappointed with anything about this album actually, but perhaps that's because I didn't have amazingly high hopes, I just wanted something to expand my collection and encourage me to listen to more music and turn the TV off. I can safely say this has worked!

The collections hits from years 1984-1994. His voice is the most recognizable from others. Brilliant music with texts. Good listen while your are in bad mood :)
