How English can you get? Not much more than this album surely??
12 songs, 9 good ones, 3 middle album ropey ones, results in a thoroughly enjoyable romp climaxing with the rather sparkling anthemic "Blue Picadilly".
Shamelessly lifting ELO backing vocals and Brian Mays guitar, "12 stops and home" encompasses these sounds within well crafted, sometime quirky "Blur" like Brit Pop.
I smiled my way through this, and am still smiling now!
