i brought this dvd as a christmas present for my mom as she and i were brought up on father ted. It reminds me of my childhood and i thought it would bring back fond memories for my mom aswell as me. We have seen all the series loads and loads of times before so the complete collection is fantastic. I would recomend anyone to watch father ted because it will cheer any person up.

I'm a huge Father Ted fan - however many times I watch the episodes, I always have a laugh. It's destined to become an enduring comedy classic, if it isn't already. Obviously I thought of buying a four CD set like this on eBay in the hope of getting a bargain and I certainly did - less than half Amazon or HMV's price (I recommend Kelcoo's price comparison site too - www.kelkoo.co.uk)! The joy of DVDs isn't just in re-watching your favourite shows whenever you like - there are always the extras to keep you amused and informed when you feel like learning something new.

Great to have the whole collection. Watched it all over two days as it made me laugh so much. Is now doing the rounds in the family, so I'd better get it back. Really enjoyable for the whole family!

this is a classic comedy even though it finished years ago it still makes me laugh everytime a watch it all time classic

Repeated a thousand times on TV but still well worth buying so you can watch it whenever you like. Top comedy.

On occassion I saw Dawn French in her role as the Vicar of Dibley, and find myself comparing Father Ted to her. The humour isn't quite on the same level as Vicar of Dibley, but for people who enjoy the humour that other series ... say South Park, Father Ted offers a less provocative version of that humour. As a gift I give it 5 Stars without question, my Dad loves this series and so I was able to give him one of his favourite series in its entirety to him. Personally this isn't my favourite TV show, but for fans this is a perfect gift both as a personal treat or for a loved one who enjoys it too.

I've been wanting to purchase this excellant comedy series for quite some time and I finally took the plunge and purchased this wonderful box set. What can be said of one of the most original comedy series of the past 20 yrs. Father Ted is one of those rare sitcoms that defies categorisation. it owes as much to Flann O'Brien and Samuel Beckett as it does to Monty Python

.There is a lot to be said to only making 2 series plus a christmas special ala the Office and Extras but Father Ted surpassed it with a additional series possibly the best of the three. On of the many highlights being Speed 3. There is of course the sadness of Dermot Morgan who died only a couple of days of completion of the third series.

People like this bastard bring down the trust for people to buy on ebay what is for sellers and buyers very bad.The much stupid from ebay is that the let this bastard even make his feedback private so other buyers cant read the feedback.I will do everything to get my money back from this bastard because this is low class, and then hiding.

I ordered this item but got messed around big time so i cannot give a review, basically i did not recieve my item, twice this happened to on ebay funny enough they were both father teds dvd!s so could have been the same person dont really know. denylady

this box set is my husband always wanted, I have been to high street store few times looking for it ,but it always out of stock. I am very happy with this purchase, father ted is great comedy and always good to watch.
