Not So Fantastic 5

The Fantastic Four isn't your average summer popcorn flick. In fact, it may just have been the best summer movie this year. Visually, it's a sight to behold, with impressive special effects and a dynamic sense of presence.
This movie never gave me the feeling that it was dragging on. The in-your-face action of their origin scene quickly gets you drawn into the movie, and the plot and characters from there on out keep you interested during the rest of the film. Excellent movie! What drives The Fantastic Four is the emotional resonance unheard of in most of today's big budget films. It really has it all. It makes you laugh, moves you, makes you cheer, makes you gasp and lets you feel smart. It sets a high bar for any sequels that may come.
