Fall Out Boy - From Under The Cork Tree (CD 2006)

This is a great band that has shot straight to the top like no other emo band of this generation could, it has lyrics that even goths have been caught singing along to and great, if not awsum upbeat melodies in the whole album, even the songs that won't be released as singles are amazing.

i decided to buy this as i had -sugar were goin down - stuck in my head for WEEKS¬! I was hoping that a few repeat plays would rid me of it lol =)
aside from the singles , there are a few good ''stand out ' tracs namely -nobodt puts baby in the corner- i love that song but there ARE a few ''fillers'' too... id rate this about a 6 1/2 /10

You can see why everybody raves about this band. I originally brought this album after hearing Sugar We're Down in the Live Lounge on Radio 1 and was very impressed with Patrick's voice, so i figured the album must be good and was not disappointed. I do not like every track but the songs i do like are extremely good. this is a must have for any fan or if you are unsure its well worth a listen.

Probably best know for their hit "Sugar We're Going Down" Fall out boy stay true to their emo style with From Under The Cork Tree, It starts off Really Good with a few rather catchy songs and some cracking lines ("i'm just A notch on your bedpost, But You're Just a line in a song") But by the time You reach track ten you kinda become bored of the same old stuff and i find it hard to take them seriously when they have a brief screaming session, its like guys your not a metal band so don't try to be... and at the end of Track 12 where they have an emo rant on "why put a new address on the same old lonlyness" and "talking is a waste of breath and living is a waste of death" So to be honest go slit your wrists while your on a high....

This album is definately worth buying for the first half alone but after a while you might get sick of the repetitive themes that run through all the songs

i love this cd but hand the band i think some would agree what they have become isnt what i was a fan of in 05 just feel like they have sold out any cds before this one is for a true fob the rest is just record lable crap.

What a great band! Just discovered them in the last 12 months & so glad I did. I have previously dismissed FOB as a US McFly. How wrong I was & I stand corrected.

I love this album because it's full of energy and fun... Fantastic lyrics, heavy beats and some good harmonies make for an album of foot-tapping, feelgood music........ I like evry track on this album but my favourites have to be .. "Dance Dance" & "Sugar We're Going Down"....... There really isn't anything bad that I can say about this CD!!..... It's just S.U.P.E.R.B!!

A brill album, I really enjoyed it, good upbeat tracks. If you like Fall Out Boy you'll like this album

never heard of fall out boy my grandaughter ordered the cd she thinks it great my comments are the cd looks brand new never played so from that point i am very pleased with the purchase

Been wanting to hear a "Fall Out boy" album for a long time and Dance Dance is my alltime favourite.

The band is good. I have got another of their albums and it is good. I like the tracks on this album that have been in the charts.

After purchasing Infinity on High which is brilliant I decided to buy this previous CD. Only having heard 'Sugar & Dance' before I wondered if it would be to my liking. This CD didn't disappoint me in the slightest and if you are a Fall Out Boy fan then this CD is a must.

I first heard about Fall Out Boy through a friend, and im glad she put me on to them. This album is a classic pop/punk cd, and is probably my favourite FOB album.

I have been a fan of Fall Out Boy for a couple of years and saw them live in August, they are a great band and i love their music, this is an excellent album and it will not disappoint you!

This CD was excellent to listen to. It was in excellent condition and has proved very popular at home.

This album is perfect for everyone, once you listen to it a few times you learn to love it. It`s got good music backed up by meaningful lyrics.
