FUJIFILM FinePix A605 Digital Camera

This is a nifty little camera which is easy to use if your a novice. I got one 2 years ago, it was £120 then, so when I saw another on ebay I bought it for £50 and keep it at work. When some of my colleagues used it they asked me to bid for them, I have now bought another 3 off ebay, the pictures are really good and you can also make a short video, it's a sturdy little camera that will fit in your pocket and you can buy them at bargain prices on ebay.The only thing I dislike about it now is the size of the screen.

fine camera, light weight, good quality pictures, It was a ideal camera for holiday snaps, It was a ideal camera for my young daughter to use simply point and shoot large veiw finder and a excellent price

ideal small compact digital camera. camera gives i feel quite good quality pictures . i have bought a couple of these cameras over the last few years. (last one left on coach going on holiday) battery compartment hinge arent as sturdy as some cameras. But overall not badly priced for the money.

Simple to use basic digital camera. The quality of the images is excellent. Very good value for money.

the finepix A605 is getting quite old now but as usual with Fujifilm cameras of that period it was built to last.
It has a claimed maximum resolution of 6Mpix on the settings BEWARE this is interpolated (the camera takes a picture at 3Mpix and then adds the extra pixels in by averaging between the real ones!! these days if you must do this you can get better results by doing it on the PC afterwards!
The camera itself is very easy to use My 5 year old son has used it already with minimum instruction.
Bad points the LCD is a bit small by todays standards but it does have an optical viewfinder! It has digital zoom but you can get better results by cropping on the computer afterwards if you couldnot get closer!
This is now a bargain basement camera on the secondhand market and is ideal for young children to have or the go everywhere camera as it would be a small loss if it got damaged.

One of my best finds on e.Bay! And the item was perfect at a very good price! It replaced an identical camera which 'died' on me - so i have not had to master a new instrument!

I like the size ,just easy to hold,l got it because
l had one a long time ago so l knew that it was a good one.
