very nice compact camera that is easy to use. Pictures are of good quality. Ideal as a fist digital camera.

The quality pictures, simplicity of use and the price of these new are reasonable.
I purchased this camera as a faulty item. Most defects on cameras is moisture ingress and the symptoms advertised on the sale were conclusive.If you have some practical experience on delicate repairs,a bit of luck and a potential bargain in the making, then my advise would be to get one as cheaply as possible with the open view that the camera may never work again.Unless you are prepared for expensive authorized repair bills that will roughly equate to the price of a new camera!
Several things can be attempted to effectively 'dry out' a camera,but use common sense and avoid excessive heat exposure such as hair dryers and placing onto radiators.Be prepared to lavish several hours switching all the feature buttons repetitively and to have to repeat yet again.Test with batteries only during repair work. Usually within a hour or so the camera should start to come back to life. This is of course, not guaranteed and damage could totally write off the camera! You have been warned! If at first you manage to operate the camera, switch off and repeat testing for a few days before you can safely pass the camera on as a potential sale or gift. None of us 'fix it or bin it' people want bad reputations do we?
If you have time and like a challenge go for it.

already had Fuji A310 that went faulty so this was exact replacement & am quite happy with it as a handy snapper, No problems with Batteries use proper Fuji NH-10 rechargables & its fine.

Don't agree with the comments in the review below and thats not because I am about to sell mine on Ebay either! This camera has lasted me and the wife well over the last six years. The picture quality is great for 3.1 megapixels and the camera itself is so easy to use you never need the instruction manual to help you. If you are looking for a good camera for a bargain proce then you should consider this model.

i bought this type of camera for my son as a first time camera and its been every where with him and the pictures are gr8 quliaty recomend it for first time camera users.

I can highly recommend this camera. It is very easy to use & compact.

I have had one for at least 3 years and it always produces photos of a very high standard.

There is nothing I do not like about it.

This camera is my first digital camera, so I needed something that was easy to use. The mechanics are excellent, namely, the ease of the optical zoom operation. My husband has an Olympus digital camera, and has dreadful trouble keeping his hand on the control button. Thus the zoom keeps going in and out.
This camera is excellent.

nice camera lovely picture, disadvantage there is no cover for it. it should be on cover or carry case. anyway picture nice, i like it. Other disadvantage i think there is no sound recording on it.

I had been looking for a while for docking cradle. When one turned up on eBay I made a bid for it,and won. Three days later it turned up,well packed ,and in the original boxs, I'm using it all the time now when downloading pictures from camera to PC with no problem of camera batteries running out part way through download.As a bonus included with the cradle was a faulty A310 camera which I can have repaired if needs be. The deals I've had with eBay so far have been faultless. (Possibly I've been luckey ) I shall continue to comb through the items on eBay looking for those bargains

had this camera know for 3 yours and iv had no trouble with it,thy only thing i don.t like about it is, the LCD' screen is to small, the one good thing with Fuji cameras is thy take good photos.and 1 more thing is bay good batteries and thy ll last you longer.

I enjoyed this camera for a long time when purchased for £300 when new! It was fantastic and has great picture quality even by todays standards. The optical zoom was an added bonus too as generally digital zoom looks a bit blurry, but the optical makes all the difference.

A must for anyone starting up in the digital photography world or if they want a good yet inexpensive camera to take on an adventure.

when i was bidding for this item,i never knew it was so old like that,even though the condition was used but it was very old anyway still in working order.

I liked the size, and the features built in to the camera. It was easy to use, but unless you are using rechargeable batteries, it could cost you lots of cash. It really does eat batteries, the one I bought on e-bay was for a replacement for my old one which stopped working, but the new one failed with the same fault 2 weeks later. According to my local photo shop, when they get old [the camera that is], even new batteries fail to get it going- only option is to buy new!
Now have a new bridge camera,[not a fuji!]
