Excellent thriller set in wartime Britain about a murderous German spy (Donald Sutherland) trying to flee the country with the allies' invasion plans and becoming romantically involved with a young mum (Kate Nelligan)on a remote Scottish island while waiting for the U-boat that will take him to safety. Very tense and exciting. Highly recommended.

Eye Of The Needle DVDThis movie is based on Ken Folletts book "Eye of the Needle"Which I have recently just read,There are a number of differences between the book & the movie which I,ve seen quite a while ago.There is an old saying that everyone loves a good story & this movie is just that.
The movie is about a dangerous German spy & the hunt to catch him,His escape from this country could very well lose us the war,He is chased to a remote Scottish island where it ends with a thrilling climax.
