Enya - Paint The Sky With Stars (The Best Of Enya) (CD 1997)

This is one of the best albums i own. I own over 450 albums and this is in my top ten of all time greatest albums. Enya cannot be imitated, copied or matched in her music. She is completely unique and has her own genre of music. Although many like to put her music under 'new-age', 'classical' or 'world music' which is simply incorrect! This album shows off most of Enya's best work, which isn't all of it. Because lets face it, Enya always makes albums that are quality from start to finish. If you had but one Enya CD to buy, this would be it. You'd be missing much of the richness that comes through on her other albums (hence, I actually advocate you buy all of them in addition to this!), but given limited time and budget, this one is a great collection of many of the essentials of Enya's work.
This is one of my 'desert island discs' (were I to be stranded on a deserted island, this is one of ten the CDs I would opt to take).
So what are you waiting for? Buy this album!!

It is the best album ever made by Enya and I got it at a fraction of the price that I would pay in shops and it was delivered to my door. What more can you want !!!!!

I bought this CD because I am getting married in a register office and wanted something chilled out for background music. Initially thought classical best but having heard Enya decided it was perfect. Not being too familiar with Enya I instantly liked almost all of the tracks. Unlike some CD's where you need to play a few times before getting to like them!
Will now be thinking of buying other CD's by Enya her voice is wonderful and I find she can relax the most stressed out people!

the CD is relaxing to listen to, was pleased to buy it as had lost my previous one. I like the way her words tell stories. Though there are some tracks which are a bit depressing

I love this cd. I bought it as a gift for my Mother as an extra for Mothers Day. It was a fantastic price and was like new another e bay bargain!!!

the music is very relaxing and soothes my 7 week old baby girl Freya to sleep as she does not like quiet!! it was good value for money and was sent quickly.

This album brings to you a compilation of great hits which will not disappoint. A mixture of soothing melodies and powerful vocals which captures a relaxing atmosphere, with a culture of its own. As the album spans almost a decades collection you will notice certain quality differences with the synthetic riffs (especially with the celts)but nevertheless they are classics.

Nice haunting and relaxing music.I had the original in cassette form and was unable to play it so i thought i would purchase the cd.

If you are fan of Enya you've probably got all these tracks on various discs but this is still a great collection to have.
The tracks vary from the very upbeat Orinoco Flow to the haunting title track 'Paint the Sky with Stars'.
I have all of Enya's discs including the box sets but this brings so much together in one handy package. So put this on the player and enjoy the music.

Iv been thinking wbout this cd for ages and then thought of ebay - what better place to have a look! It had a buy it now option which i thought was very convenient and when i got the item it was in perfect condition, better than expected and it was dispatched quickly. Thankyou!

Fab cd, bought for my horse box to play to the horse, which seems to chill him out when travelling.

This is by far my all time favourite Enya Album, She and the late great Karen Carpenter must surely rate as the best female vocalists of our time...I certainly wouldn't want to be asked to choose between them!
I often lay back and listen to Enya, her haunting voice is so relaxing after the stress and strains of the day
PAINT THE SKY WITH STARS features many of her most loved songs, my copy is played that often its almost worn out!

Bought this to replace an old damaged CD. Still get as much pleaseure from it as when firt released

as i am a big enya fan i was upset at loosing my cd if you like the haunting sound of enya then i recamend this cd as it has many haunting songs i ride horses to music and this cd has the perfect tempo for my horses to move to for slow and fast movement the only thing i do not like about this cd is it isnt long enought

The CD played OK, but still had a sticker "99p Help The Aged". I don't know why I was aggrevied at paying over £6.00 for it. Also it was packed in a "Jiffy" bag, and did not justify the P&P required.

The message surely is search before you buy!

If you own this album you will never buy another,fantastic way to chill out and lose yourself.Ideal for all ages.
