End of Days (DVD 2000)

HIYA THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST APPEALING DVDS I HAVE SEEN SO FAR IT WAS UNUSUAL
TO SEE ARNI PLAY THIS PART LET ALONE ACTULY DIE IN ONE,I ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH WILL WATCH IT AGAIN

A very entertaining Film with the ussual Arnie action but with a story that most action Movies do not have.
Good special effects and the usuall muscle bound performance fron Arnold Schwarzenegger make this a good film and well worth buyimg to add to my Libray of Films both action and Story make
this aworthwhile movie and a very good Buy.

End Of Days is completely different from other films by Arnie however its a strong one. The performances are good and Arnie seems more human in this film than running along slaughtering anyone in his way. The film is dark and keeps you focused. Good film.

Plot:

On December 28th, 1999, the citizens of New York City are getting ready for the turn of the millennium. However, the Devil decides to crash the party by coming to the city, inhabiting a man's body, and searching for his chosen bride, a 20-year-old woman named Christine York. [If he bears her child between 11:00 PM and midnight on New Year's Eve], the world will end, and the only hope lies within an atheist ex-cop named Jericho Cane, who no longer believes in God because of the murder of his wife and daughter.

Not his most noteworthy film, but a good one nevertheless and the first of his action films, where everyone is kicking the crap out of him for a change, instead of vice versa. A refreshing change!

Pretty good performances from Gabriel Byrne, Robin Tunney, Kevin Pollack and Rod Steiger. A plausible script, relatively free of large holes, reasonable special effects which don't overshadow the story or drown the viewer in CGI.

Definately worth a look.

i hope the rest of the dvds are as good cond as the two i have wached i did not get then at the time. thankyou

One of those 'The Devil wants kids' films - but in this one Arnie gets to fight on the side of God!

All a bit OTT but I like Gabriel Byrne!

Not what you'd call a typical Arnie film. There's evidence of a little thought in the script not to mention a few deeper moments of dialogue. Enjoyed it immensely and Gabrielle Byrne was great. All round decent film.

this is a excellant film highly recomended it keeps you griped all the way throw the charictors are brilliant an explosive film with lots of twists and turns a good watch
