Enchanted (DVD)

A classic Disney animated fairy tale meets with the modern, live-action romantic comedy in Walt Disney Pictures' Enchanted. Featuring an all-star cast, the film follows the beautiful princess Giselle (Amy Adams) as she is banished by an evil queen (Susan Saradon) from her magical, musical animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan.

Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a “happily ever after” basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer (Patrick Dempsey) who has come to her aid -- even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince (James Marsden) back home – she has to wonder: can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?

I rented this dvd for my 3 year old daughter,after watching it 4 or 5 times I sent it back but had my daughter continuously asking to watch it again. I then ended up buying it on ebay.
It's an excellent family film and you can watch it over again and notice things you did'nt the first time. I much rather this on Blu-Ray dvd. The quality is much better.
I enjoyed this as much as my daughter. True disney film.

this is a proper family film, it is very entertaining from start to finish. the characters are great-esecially the chipmunk. it is a real feel good film with the good old happy ending for everyone except the witch of course!
recommend to anyone who likes fairy tales with a little reality. great fun

I saw this film when it was released in the cinema and was amazinly suprised! i dont usually go for fairy tale happiness, as im quite the cynic, but this film i loved! it knows exactly when to make fun of itself and the main characters react perfectly in their different sittations.
Realistic in an unrealistic story.

A great family film that i would recomend to adults and children alike.

I had my expectations that this film was going to be quite boring but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was very funny, emotionally engaging and is generally a fantastic film!

I loved the mix of animation and real-life film, I thought it was extremely well done and I would recommend this to any Disney fan.

We actually went to the cinema to watch it and the kids loved it. So did I of course.

i am collecting disney dvds and come across this after never seeing it before i decided to buy it!!
and ill tell u what, it is now my favourite disney dvd!! full of brilliant songs which u cant help but sing along to even if u dnt know the words lol!!

Cute, fun, good effects, lots of references to various fairy tales, suitable for families. My 7 year old loves to sing the songs.

I bought this film after seeing it on the TV it enhances my collection and i would watch again and again It is a very, very good all round family film well made It is well acted and gave me the impression that no money hade been spared in its making. As per usual Disney created a master peice some film makers should take a leaf out of their book.

Bought on DVD to take on holiday on dull days when the sun didn't shine. We all loved it, total fantasy but great fun and a good soundtrack.

A feel good comedy film. Great for adults and children. I loved the animation and characters and romance. Its a 10 out of 10 for me.

To be honest I am not one for musicals. But I must say I enjoyed this one. The songs were lovely, the outfits were stunning and the storyline was fab. The storyline says it all about the film as I was enchanted. Excellent film for the family.

This fairy story is beautifully filmed and fun from start to finish [Apart from a ham performance by Robert DiNero as a gay cross-dressing privateer captain].

I would recommend this film wholeheartedly, for children of all ages [with parental guidance for under-7s] and also for adults.

family film ,have watched this film quite a few times .. , love it , kids love princesses & magical story`s which this is both , great the way they have mixed the real life with the fairytale , i enjoyed the film aswell but every girl likes a fairytale ...no matter at what age!!!!

lovely mordern fairy tale. good price, my daughter loves princess, this film is good for girls or romatic people who like a little romance and magic in their life.

This is an excellent film it makes you laugh and cry. It's so different normally its the real lift things that go into cartoon not the other way round. The chipmunk in this film is really funny so you would enjoy this totally. It's for all the family not just for kids so buy it and really enjoy this excellent film.

bought this dvd after taken my son of 3 and daughter 4 to see this film at the cinema......was shocked by my son taken to the film,guess because part cartoon and film and the colours,with action and music.........its a film deff for all female no matter of age,great fairy tale(romantic)film.
