The Emerald Forest (DVD 2005)

Years ago I rented the video of this film and it made a big impact on my life and the way I have always thought about everything. Failing miserably to keep the materialistic view. Although I do believe, whole-heartedly, we should all live like this. The human footprint, 'leaving nothing but memories'. Anyway, I thought the kid in it was fantastic, and only since buying the DVD, have realised that he is Charlie Boorman, from the Long Way Down, with Ewan McGregor. Now I know why Ewan and he are such good friends. Must be they were both child film stars. DUH! - WOW Charlie was Fit!!
The film is just as good, if not better than I remember it, which means it has stood the test of time. Not many films do that. HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

saw this film years ago i loved it then , so when i see it in here on dvd i just had to get it ,its a fab film
