I bought this notebook just for travelling as it's small and light. All I need is something to charge my IPOD and to be able to send emails and use the internet. The SD card slot is handy as my digital camera uses a SD card as memory so I can quickly email my pictures as I travel. This is a very basic notebook and is fairly easy to use. It just takes a while you are used to using windows as you look for familiar Icons automatically and Linux is very basic and not the same.
I'm happy with mine it does exactly what I need it for and if it's lost of stolen while I'm travelling then all I've lost is £100 so not the end of the world.

Surprisingly Impressed With The Elonex WebsurferReview created: 26/10/09

) My 5 year old son has been torturing me for a laptop for Christmas and, understandably, I was reluctant to pay large sums for a piece of equipment which, in reality, may not last too long!!!
I decided upon the Elonex OneT+ primarily due to its price and size: I did not pay a fortune and it is small enough for my son to manage. At this stage I did not even consider what the machine could or could not do.
I received the item and decided to get it up and running so that it was all ready for Christmas. I was a little wary as I knew that it had a linux operating system and I have always used Microsoft Windows. After reading the instruction manual I realised that the machine is actually Microsoft compatible.
The screen layout is very easy to use and pretty much self-explanatory. The wordprocessing and spreadsheet functions are the exact same as Microsoft. There are preloaded games, media player and lots of unepected extras.
One thing I did find complicated was connecting wirelessly to the internet. Please be aware that BT Broadband does not support linux and it may take a while to figure out how to connect. The instruction manual describes the process but getting it right may take some time!
Once connected the system is quite slow - but what would you expect!!! You will need to turn on the flash and javascript as described in the manual. You can download a more recent version of flashplayer - keeping in mind the internet browser is bon echo (firefox based browser)
In conclusion, I think this little laptop is excellent for the price. It may not be as powerful as your pricier machines but it does exactly what it says on the tin!!!

I bought mine with a missing keyboard, as I have big fingers and can't use those little keyboards anyway, so I just got a usb keyboard, job done!
I love the fact that it is small enough to carry around with me, yet the screen is big enough for me to read ebooks.
I bought this to help me teach my first aid classes, I can save all my DVD's on the hard drive, and use a PC to TV adapter to show them and my powerpoint presentations on a large screen TV. it works well for that.
I am really happy with it, the only downside is that due to bad website design, I have to change screen resolution to see some sites properly.
I love the fact that it is small enough to carry around with me, yet the screen is big enough for me to read ebooks.

I brought this notebook for my son to use at comprehensive school, as he has Aspergers syndrome, adha, and dyslexia and has found this notebook a great tool.He now attends classes and produces really good work. Fits easily in his school bag and as he can't use wifi at school or connect it to a network, he is not getting distracted from his lessons.
A really good notebook that can cope with anything and is really easy to use, roll on gcse's.
