for me this is one of the most amazing movies, it is just soo childish it is funny and will ferrel man he looks funny in those stockings :-D
This movie can be watched all year around, and if you love childishsly stupid movies this is one for you! The kids will love it!

We bought this to add to our collection, never really expecting it to be much better than an avarage kids d.v.d. How wrong we were, we put it on one day to watch. Me and my partner found it quite amusing and pleasant to watch, But the kids loved it they thought it was fantastic and i have to agree although i'm not a massive watcher of kids films this one was magical, no-one left the family room the whole time it was on, and since then i think its one of our most played d.v.d's. I would strongly recomend to any parents to buy this you wont regret it, and as for the suitable age there isn't one we all loved it and theres a (3yr old) (7yr old) (i'm 27yrs old) and (johns 42yrs old) EXCELLENT VIEWING.

Sat and watched this with the whole family when it first came out. There's nothing better than over the winter season watching a fun, happy, Christmas film.

Saw this at the cinema a while ago and it made me laugh. when I was what a bargain it was on E Bay I thought I'd buy it. I think it's a real feel good family film. Watched it on Xmas eve to with my kids to get us in the Christmas mood!

I Like the film has it has something for all the family and is a very good film. i bought has a present for my daughter who loves the film.

To be honest I haven't been able to get it to work. I will have to try it on another dvd player as the problem might be with me, although I don't have problems with any of my other dvd's. I decided to buy it as I had watched it previously and really enjoyed it......never mind eh my loss.

The funniest Christmas film I'm seen yet.Had me in stiches all through out the film,Will Farrel is excellent in this film,one of his best.You wont be disappointed with this film

The best christmas film ever!It appeals to kids and adults,my kids loved it and re-enacted loads of scenes! It is full of laughs and quotes.

good family film to watch at xmas will need the tissues though. makes a change from the yellow brick road

I bought this for my little boy who has it on video but not dvd, every child/grown up should watch it, an excellent film

What a hilarious and well written film, Ferrel is legendary, I think that this is my favourite film of his (besides his part in Wedding Crashers). From start to finish it's brilliant :-)

i bought elf on video, a couple of years ago, it was so good i just had to get it on dvd. this is a brilliant christmas dvd that brings a warm and happy feeling as soon as you watch it. i would definately recommend it to any person of any age. brilliant dvd 5/5.

Will Ferrel is hilarious in this as an oversized elf trying to discover who he really is and in this process he will make you laugh again and again. My kids loved this so much on tv that I had to buy them the dvd to watch over and over as only kids can. If you want a real laugh buy this and its sure to hit the spot.
