The design and colour is good but the power is not so good. I only hoover a bit and had to empty the cylinder frequently due the vent get clogged quickly. My old 1400 hitachi vacuum seem to have more power than this 1800 vacuum

) I bought it as a small one to leave upstaits to hoover in the bedroom. The only niggle is the tubes will not always stay put. Otherwise the suction is good and easy to empty. It is light to lift and at a mature age I dont want heavy cannisters to lift around
