Yet another classic elo album that produced many brilliant singles i still have shine a little love on 12" white vinyl and it's in mint condition after all these years but tracks on this album like "i need her love" "wishing" and especially "midnight blue" are classics in their own right and if you have never heard the album i recommend you give it a listen for those three tracks alone and i think you will agree infact i know you will well done jeff & co another brilliant album for us all and every track a winner without a doubt.

KELLY GROUCUTT SANG, MIDNIGHT BLUE, AND IT WAS BRILLIANT, I DON'T KNOW WHY I HADN'T HEARD IT BEFORE, AND I HAVE BEEN AN ELO FAN FOR EVER, BUT DID NOT HAVE THIS SONG, SO HENCE PURCHASE OF DISCOVERY, WHAT A FABULOUS C.D. AND I HAVEN'T STOPPED PLAYING IT, THE MEMORIES FLOOD BACK, CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN.

I bought this cd because I absolutely love ELO,and I only had this album on tape format to play in the car. It is a brilliant album and I could listen to it all day including their other albums, which are also brilliant.They don't make records like this anymore.
Also it was a bargain buy from eBay and it's the easiest way to buy the music and other items you want,and saves you time looking round the shops!

DISCO-veryAs long as you're willing to accept ELO as masters of the pop song rather than the experimental progressive band they started out as, you’ll agree that this is their peak. Every song on here is a winner. Sure at times they sound a bit like SNF era Bee Gee's, but who cares.. this kind of music was never meant to be credible. They're just damn good songs, played with precision, and produced with great care.
If you only know the big hits like Livin’ Thing, Mr Blue Sky, Evil Woman etc.. then you’re bound to like this!

Electric Light Orchestra - DiscoveryAnother fantastic collection of songs from ELO. Released as the follow up to 'Out Of The Blue' this album contains more catchy tunes that will have you humming for days on end. As with the previous album this CD is packed with thickly orcheatrated sonds with futuristic sounds and fantastic harmonies. Many great hits came from this album and in my opinion there is not one bad song on it. This album is well worth a listen and i would certainly recommend it . . . . .Andy

) it is a brilliant cd with lots of tracks i love , i found it hard looking in stores for this so find ebay fantastic ,,, its great finding old tunes that you grew up with , just been to an elo concert and it was great being able to refresh my memory with all the classics

) 'Discovery' is one of those hit-laden albums that seem to be slightly better than it actually is. Jeff Lynne, THE songwriter of ELO is still wistfully wishing that he had been at the garden party when Mr Lennon met Mr McCartney and the Beatles influences are constant throughout his music. This album is hugely enjoyable none-the-less. It is jam packed with hit after hit and almost deserves to be a compilation. As an album, as a project, as a concept - its just a collection of songs. They still sound great today and this album, 'Out of the Blue' and 'New World Record' remain the pinnacle of Jeff's achievements. Its good , its fun, its catchy, its ELO.
