Early Doors - Series 2 (DVD)

Great second series about the landlord and regulars in a pub. May sound boring but is very funny and the characters are ones you will know from your own local. Nothing I didn't like about it, an excellent series, try getting Series 1 first as this dvd does start where the first finished. You will love it.

WE BOUGHT THIS DVD BECAUSE THE HUMOUR & THE CHARACTERS IN THE SERIES REMIND US VERY MUCH OF LIVING IN THE STOCKPORT AREA SOME YEARS AGO. EVEN SOME OF THE STREET NAMES ARE MENTIONED IN THE SCRIPT.
WHY THIS SERIES WASN'T NOMINATED FOR AN AWARD PUZZLES US AS WE RATE THIS SITUATION COMEDY ABOVE 'THE ROYLE FAMILY' & THAT WAS A BRILLIANT PROGRAMME.

I DIDN'T THINK THE FIRST SERIES COULD BE ANY BETTER BUT I WAS WRONG THE WHOLE ATMOSPHERE AND BANTER BETWEEN THE CHARACTERS WAS GREAT. IT WAS JUST LIKE BEING DOWN THE LOCAL.THE ACTING WAS BRILLIANT AND SCRIPT SUPERB.
THIS IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME CLASSICS!
THE FINAL EPISODE IS A GEM."DING DONG"

One of the best comedies of recent years returns for a second series and this does not dissappoint.

If you have never seen Early Doors, get Series 1 and prepare yourself for a treat.

My partner had watched the series on TV and wanted to watch it again and for me to see it. I bought it him as a present and we watched it together. It is extremely funny as well as having its poignent moments. I would highly recommend it.

I would definately recommend this seller for any purchase. I bought a DVD on a buy it now price which was extremely reasonable, in fact cheaper than was selling at auction prices. The package was received a couple of days after the auction ended. The service was great. A+
