A great cd, nice to relax to, after a long day. Close your eyes and drift away into sunshine and summer.

Listening to this felt like stepping back in time to the days of Desperado, an excellent album, thought provoking lyrics and womderful melodies.

This is a great album from the Eagles - their first new work in 28 years. Undoubtedly one of the best new releases from 2007. The second disc is slightly better than the first - largely because Don Henley is probably the most accomplished songwriter of all of them, and most of those latter songs feature his vocals. The title track is brilliant - a 10 minute opus which grows on the listener with repeated plays. Highly recommended album and well worth a listen. A must for any Eagles fan.

OK album and probably reflective of the mood of the band in the 21st century. Songs are nicely crafted, mellow and well produced.
Gone are the angry young men (and Felder's guitar too) so this is not a patch on the likes of "Hotel California" (mind you, very few albums are) or "On the Border".
Only real track I liked first time out of the box (because it sounded like an Eagles song) was "How Long", an old JD Souther song from the 70s, worthy of their debut LP. Everything else sounds more like a collection of 'solo' works put together in a compilation album. Nothing wrong with that, if you like their solo stuff, but it just lacks something bigger than the sum of the individual parts... which is what the Eagles were until 1980.

Brilliant set of tracks to suit all moods. Good variety of music moods that would suit all listeners. Great to drive to!

An album that grows with time and is both different from original Eagle stracks yet very familiar - like an old pair of slippers!! Great to hear them back!

CD was as described it arrived promptly but not packed in cd jewel case but music fine. Not the best product I have bought from E-Bay

i had heard some tracks on the radio and decided to listen on a site that would play samples of the cds and to my amazement it was a lot better to some of the reviews it received all in all it is definately better than good so my review has to go with exellent!

I go Line Dancing on a Monday, and our teacher played a particular track from an album, song was Called "No More Cloudy Days", really beautiful, she told me it was from the Eagles CD "Long Road Out Of Eden, I bought this CD from a seller on Ebay, and have played it almost continually, it really is superb, a must for those who love the Eagles.

I wanted this album because I like the Eagles and it had a few songs that I did not have on any other albums that I own.

This is a great group to travel down the motorway listening to.

I remember The Eagles when I was growing up in the 70s and used to love their unique sound, then they seemed to disappear for a long time, but have made a comeback recently. which surprised me and I heard their new songs on the radio, and I instantly liked them,
Too Busy Being Fabulous is the song that kept sticking in my mind and made me curious about buying their new album.....I'm so glad I did!....now I have just bought their greatest hits album too.....I forgot how good these guys were and should be a part of everybody's music collection.
Well done The Eagles.....still got what it takes.

I bought this cd to replace the one stolen along with my system in the car. The Eagles are my all time favourite band and this cd keeps up the standard we have come to expect. The more you listen to it the better it gets.

The Eagles are a class act, and I went to see them at the London O2 arena during their recent tour promoting this new album. The show was nearly 3 hours long and included some of the tracks from this new album. 'Long Road out of Eden' was a long time in the making and eagerly awaited; it does not disappoint.

This is a double CD album with a very diverse range of songs in terms of pace and style, and allows each band member to have lead vocals. The classic Eagles sound of perfect harmonies is evident throughout. I particularly like the songs lead by Timothy B Schmit; he has a great voice. A 'must have' if you like the unique Eagles sound.

my wife & I have both enjoyed the eagles music for many years, this album is excellent, would strongly recomend it to all Eagles fans, would also recomend Eagles farewell 1 tour DVD live from Melbourne.

If you are a fan of the Eagles, you will love this double CD. Nice to hear so many new tracks. Also nice use of an Eco package. I bought it without having heard any of the tracks, but liked it straight away.

After a break of so long it is truly amazing that the Eagles are able to construct such a superb album. For die hard Eagles fans it has everything and more you might expect from one of the world's finest bands. Superb harmonies, beautiful lilting guitar riffs, wonderful melodies and a fabulous eclectic mix of tracks that only the Eagles can do. One of the most surprising things about this album is that never do you feel it is "samey" as all the tracks are different in their pace and style, and there are no bad or ordinary ones.
In my humble opinion this album is a triumph and and like all the Eagles tracks will stand the test of time. If you are in any doubt don't be treat yourself to a masterpiece of great music !

Bought it for the song Hole in the world.Not the best Eagles album.The tight harmony is what give the Eagles such a great sound. Need some bright new material.
