Dyson DC19 Bagless Canister Cyclonic Vacuum

The Dyson dc19 is very light and compact and has excellent suction power, is very easy to clean has no bags to buy and comes with a 5 year guarantee. Have already owned a dc 02 it lasted for years so made to last. On the down side this machine is not as good as the dc02 for stairs the dc02 could sit on the stairs and was very safe, this model not as good, but it makes up with the powerful suction. One other thing about the dyson dc02 and the dc19 is static electricity if you do not keep your hands on the shaft when you clean your carpet you do get a shock as anyone would know if they had the dc02 model. This only happens if you touch the metal shaft after you have been using the machine, if you place your hands on the grip or on the shaft from the start no shock will happen. That said I would buy this machine again and again but i would buy it from ebay, why you may ask? the price I paid £146 including delivery from ebay it would cost £222 at least from dyson or more from littlewoods why not check around for the best price. I sent my registration form to dyson and had no problem's, Im covered for the next 5 years. If i ever need another machine dyson is for me, I hope you will not be put off about the static charge keep your hands on the grip or tube from the start and this will not happen. I hope this review will be of help this is a great machin and it last for years who would give you a 5 year free guarantee these days?.

We bought this to replace our old cylinder vacuum cleaner. To be honest i was a bit sceptical about the claims Dyson make for their products, but i have been pleasantly surprised.

To start with its a good looking product, very modern design and appears to be well constructed with good quality materials.
It works well on all surfaces, The suction seems a lot better than you might expect from a 1400w machine, i never realized how dirty our floors were.
The waste container holds a reasonable amount, its easy to empty and there are no bags to replace, so it doesn't really matter how often you empty it.
Mine came with the flat out tool, hard floor tool and the usual stair, crevice and brush tools. All are adequate for the job.

I would recommend that you buy one of their soft dusting brushes, works fantastic on large flat surfaces, tables, mirrors, televisions etc, it sucks the dust straight into the vacuum instead of wafting moving it around the room with a duster. Great for cobwebs too :)

Overall a quality machine which works well and in my opinion is great value for money.
Top that off with a 5 year parts and labour warranty and you can't go wrong.

One thing, make sure you get a VAT receipt from the seller, you will need this as proof of purchase by Dyson, in the event of you making a claim under warranty

Im totally over the moon with this item an absolute bargin, top price well informed by seller top communications and next day delivery couldnt ask for a better buy! I was looking for a new hoover as mine had just gone bust after 7 years when i saw this i thought i was to good to be true, iv told every one where i got it from and how much it cost they cant beleave it im smittened by it many thanks to ebay and the great sellers out there!!!

I am very happy with the Dyson hoover.
The suction is excellent , it picks up everything like dust and hair.
It comes with 3 attachements but 1 of them i wont really use because i think it is for pet hair and i dont have a pet.The ones i do use is the nozzle that can fit down the side of the sofa and the brush which gets rid off all the dust.
I really like the head of the hoover because it is very narrow and can easily fit under furniture for examle: sofa's , Tables , without having to move them.
The only thing i dislike is that it is not very good on rugs because i have a big rug in my living room and each time i do the sides of the rug it keeps sucking it up the hoover because it is so powerful. That is only a minor thing though , other than i am very happy with my purchase.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do, very well.
After using a DC02 I found the handle a little bit akward.
