Dyson DC14 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I like the way the carpets appear refreshed, as is the rest of the furnishings. The brush on the roller lifts the carpet to bring it back to its original state as it cleans. I had a dyson dc01 and liked it but felt that the animal hair was not being vacuumed and having carried out an investigation of different vacuum cleaners opted for this one. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone with an animal who loses a lot of fine hair

i purchased this dyson because they are great,they are lightweight and look good too,you can buy almost every spare part now on ebay!

I love the dyson, its amazing however the suction is so good its heavy to push along. But the results are amazing my carpets are like new again.
Highly recommend but be warned its heavy.

Heard all about James Dyson and his invention. Had not bought one previously because Dyson had moved production out of the UK, the production costs have been substantially reduced but the prices are still sky high. As there is a six month period between washing the filters and it does not need bags I thought it would be a good buy for rented property on a six month AST. It was bought as just having been serviced and cleaned. The roller for carpets did not spin and I had to take the DC14 to a local shop for repair. (the idea of returning it to the vendor together with the cost and inconvenience of packing and postage, did not appeal). Nominal cost of £15 for repair and a PROPER clean. The tenant of the flat says it is wonderful. Time will tell.

i bought this item thinking i was getting a good deal, as the seller stated that it was 8 months old from new and only reason he was selling as he had laminate floors now, when it arrived it looked fine but when i tested it , it had no filter which i had to purchase one for another £19.99. it then had no suction, i contacted this ebayer to tell him of my disgust and he was not helpful at all, i checked with dyson with the serial no and it turns out this dyson was manufacturered in september 2004, i emailed this information to the seller and since then have had no reply, so ive bought a useless vac that wont even pick up properly( seems my oly option now is to take this in to a proper dyson dealer to have it checked) (might as well have gone and bought one brand new at least id no it worked and id have the 5 year warranty that dyson give.) a very disappointed ebay buyer. this is not the first item i have been duped with (a diswasher that didnt work) a computer that had illegal software on from microsoft, all of thee have been very ad buys and i havnt got a leg to stand on, dont no how these sellers can have a clear consenience i couldnt,i even had an item we sold checked over before selling costing me over £100. pity that some ebayers arnt honest.

Excellent Vacuum and accessories, plenty of suck use with caution unless you have good quality carpets. Have had an older model which lasted nearly 10yrs without any fault.

Having owned a Dyson Vacuum cleaner for several years now i decided to upgrade to a newer model.
I have 2 persian cats so needed one that would combat animal hair.
Well what a cleaner the Dyson DC14 lived upto expectations its the best i have had so far i would recommend a Dyson to everyone and the DC14 perfect for people with pets.
I can tell you know no one will be disappointed with a Dyson Cleaner.

I needed a good vacuum cleaner as have two cats and a dog. This product is excellent on wooden floors and short carpets and tiled floors. A bit difficult trying to hoover long pile rug. Easy to use the tools on furniture and stairs, an excellent buy, highly recommended.

I can't believe that I put up with my old cleaner for so long. This Dyson is amazing. The carpets look completely different now.... like new. The only thing that I don't like is the flexi hose for doing the stairs. It is quite hard work keeping it extended for long periods. I could be floppier!

I have had a Dyson DC03 in the past but it was costly on filters etc, i decided to go for this model as it has washable filters & as i have two dogs thought that this would be more powerful.I find that it is very powerful when using the attachments but not as good as expected on normal cleaning.

Out of all the Dysons I have owned this has to be the best, Very Powerful. It may seem heavy to carry up and down stairs

Had many vacumns, Hoover, Henry etc etc, mostly good but never the best. This time decided that as just retired, I will to make sure that whatever goods I needed to replace over next few years, will have have to be good value and built to last. Well, this Dyson is the best. Love it, Cats, grandchildren, garden make the mess but by golly the Dyson handles it and a great feature is the extra long telescope reach attachment. I don't have to struggle trying to hold the blessed thing while cleaning the stairs, the reach attachment goes right to the top.

Having owned both a DC04 and DC07 it was time for an upgrade. We went for the DC14 Animal as we have now pets and wanted something appropriate for the day to day job. The first time our DC14 was turned on i knew it was a monster Something akin to havin a 747 engine strapped to your arm. This machine will remove absolutely everything on, in and probably under your carpets. Make sure your carpets are securely fixed or it may even remove it totally. It's a brilliant machine that is made to perform and it does just that. 10/10

What a fantastic vac! This vac sucks up animal hair from every crack and crevice in the home! Purchased just before Christmas and what a fantastic buy! It can be used on all types of floor surface so great for the home with laminates and rugs as well as carpets (such as ours.) What a difference compared to the last vacuum i bought! We have a dog and 2 cats so we needed a powerful vacuum cleaner and the Dyson Animal DC14 is certainly the vac for us! I would recommend it to pet lovers anywhere! It comes with on board tools so is great for getting behind and under radiatiors, the top of curtain rails and pelmets and also in between floor boards! I would recommend it to anyone!
