Dyson DC07 Allergy Purple/Lime Upright Vacuum

Great Hoover which picks up all my dogs hairs off all surfaces That includes wooden floors, his beds and my furniture...(sneaky dog). Moves easierly although the handle for the stairs can be a little difficult to use if you donot hold at the right angle. The only thing i could really fault was the weight of the hoover...a little to heavy and i struggle to lift it up and down the stairs BUT I WOULD NOT BE WITHOUT IT. Easy to empty and to get to all the filters too.

Needed a quick replacement Dyson. Price was very good and delivery super quick. We had a problem with suction, the seller offered prompt email help, but then swapped the machine over immediately, the newer one is fab! Excellent and friendly service. Many thanks!

i bought it a few weeks ago and it was working fine until i vacuumed some wood dust and the motor choked on it !! i would suggest to anybody not to vacuum fine particles because the filter will suck it straight through to the motor and blow up . .

In the description seller stated "few scuffs from use" but a more accurate description would have been "a bit battered,dirty and pet hairs included".I dont think its unreasonable to expect an item to be clean,even if it is second-hand.
Other than that it works ok.

I bought this because dyson are the best vacc you can buy, my mother has one and it is fantastic. The price was right for me .

Good cleaner, does exactly what you would expect. The handy tools come in very useful.
The way you empty it is great for people with dust allergies.

If buying one of these machines from an eBay seller or a shop, review carefully the wording of the item and pay particular attention to the negative comments the seller has received.

This particular Dyson has the "Root Cyclone" technology, which consists of seven narrow cyclones inside the main canister. Because they are narrow, they are prone to blocking up and reducing the efficiency of the machine. Dyson improved the design of these on later models.

A DC07 is a superb buy if it has been reconditioned properly, which involves dismantling the canister entirely and steam cleaning the narrow internal cyclones. Many sellers do not do this and instead concentrate on the external visual aspect of the machine only. This makes for an inefficient and often smelly machine clogged up with other peoples dirt.

Beware of DC07's that are sold too cheap. This is indicative that the seller has not invested the time required to recondition the machine properly and is looking to sell on price point only, rather than quality. It takes around three hours to recondition a DC07 properly. Add the cost of this time to the cost of the core unit, replacement parts and tools (if offered) and 15%+ in eBay and Paypal fees and you will see how it becomes impossible to buy them for much less than around £70.

I decided to buy this product as I needed a vacuum cleaner. I looked at several and I felt that the sellers price,description and product guarantee were good. The machine I brought is as described in excellent conditions and works perfectly. Very prompt delivery and I very happy with my purchase.

We need two vacs one downstairs one upstairs as my wife is disabled.

i am really pleased with the dyson, i brought one in the sale from argos a few weeks ago but it turned out to be no good ,so i needed to replace it quickly, i came across this dyson for a really good price, i was really surprised at how good the hoover was ,he was very helpful and friendly, i would highly recomend this hoover aswell as the seller a first class service, thanx zoe

i decided to buy it cos i needed one....although i have had trouble with it since it arrived, it keeps cutting out and not working! Not happy

ive always used dyson hoovers as they are easy and simple to handle with little cleaning or maintainance they are bagless so no buying hoover bags also have a really long hose for stairs

Dog hair was becoming a problem for my small vac I wanted a cheap Dyson type cleaner solely for this issue, I researched the web and decided on a model - I was pleased to find the same on Ebay I wasn't expecting anything new for my money just a working model with a reasonable appearance at a reasonable price.That's what I got. Most spare parts are available on the market and I am fortunate enough to be handy with a screwdriver should anything fail. Now dog hair is not a problem...a success.

Decided to buy as described truthfully. The item was local, and from the pics it looked nice. After collection the dyson was found to be near perfect, after cleaning it's back to new. Great Ebay purchase.

There were no instructions and i was confronted with loads of cardboard at unpack, could have been better supplied

Excellent value for money product was immaculate and I saved around £150 going through ebay!! I would defientaly use thsi seller again. I looked at the reviews given to seller and as they had such a high positive review i decdied to go ahead with my purchase.

Excellent suction, easy to keep clean, long hose to reach to the top of the stairs from the bottom, very easy to empty. On the down side it is heavy.

We already have one and have bought this one for sister in law who has to suffer results of a stroke.Machine had to be cleaned on arrival and was short one of the tools which she will not be using.It has been used and has been found to work well.This was bought because of its better than average suction .

Dyson is one of the best hoovers i have ever had it is simple to use, And does the job very good, And is also very easy to take apart and clean.

I liked the fact that it was the latest model and it was only about an hour travel to pick it up. my dislikes was when I got it home it was broken, but we was told thw problem would be put right if we returned it which it was but we made 3 trips in total because we got 5 mins away when we went to return it and we got a text saying that she had an emergancy. we had to go all the way home without it but when we went again a few days later we got a replacement which has been great but the pipe is not really usable as it smells and is very dirty it is to dirty to clean apart from that it is good but we had to pay lots for petrol and now £10 extra for a new pipe.
