Dyson DC07 Allergy Blue/Turquoise Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I bought this vacuum when my last Dyson gave up the will to live after 7 years hard labour. I love the fact that it has lots of tools to help you get in all the nooks and crannys, it is also really powerful. This model is much improved on my old Dyson and the easy mechanism for emptying the cylinder is a fantastic idea. The colour (although not important for the cleaning process) is lovely and could only be improved by being PINK!!!

I will never buy any vacuum other than DYSON.

what a hoover. i used to have a dc04 and thought that was good but compared to dc07 it isnt. ive never known a hoover pick up so much c**p. i thought my carpets were quite clean but the dust/dirt the 07 finds is unreal. i will never consider using another hoover again. the only bad point is the weight. it is quite a handful to carry up and down the stairs

Having been converted the dyson 07.glides across the floor with no effect..love the colour purple and pink....reason why i brought it was because you could easily find a replacement parts on ebay.

Our second Dyson, this one replaces a DC04 which has probably been used twice a day for six or seven years.
Very strange, Dyson vacuums are a 'marmite' sunject - people either love them or hate them.
We tried several different vacuum cleaners by borrowing from friends before buying, as there were very mixed reviews, but none were a patch on the Dyson for cleaning, so we bought one & have never looked back.
With very heavy use, we had to replace the flexible hose last year, it's had a couple of drive belts and one set of replacement filters, and that's it. I've given it to my parents now as it still works but has become somewhat tatty.
They're a bit heavy for lugging up & down the stairs, but the long hose means you don't really need to do it that often.
All in all, still the best vacuum on the market (especially at Ebay's prices!)

I absolutely love this vacumn cleaner - It is powerful and efficient and deals with pet hair better and faster than any other cleaner I have ever used.

Always a DYSON is my lifetime motto from now on!

Great suction probably as it is root cyclone and not dual cyclone. I already own a DC04 Absolute and a DC14 but I think the DC07 is the best.Lifetime Hepa filter for allergy sufferers, a long hose for doing the stairs and a very easy pull trigger to empty the bin. All in all a very good buy. I'm well pleased!!!

It's a big hoover that comes with plenty of power. Nothing I've previously used can touch this machine for suction!

The coloured bits all do something and it's easy to identify which part to move or press on. Simple to use and operate.

I rate it as good and not excelent because there are limited tools that can't do everything(2).

very nice and strong vacum cleaner available on the market. it might looks a bit bulky but it is worth it.

Years ago I had the first dyson that came out and i loved it. I do think the dyson i bought recently is the best hoover that i have ever had. It's suction is soo powerful and works great on carpets and tiled / laminate flooring. I did think however that the dyson is quite an expensive make, but on ebay this gives you more choice and a selection of affordable prices. As even ebay has helped me through the credit crunch! and now i have a nice and tidy home!

I have just received my lovely Dyson DC07. My dear faithful 7 year old DC07 gave up the ghost, and I thought "Oh no what am I going to do now". It is just the best for cleaning the carpets of all those little "Jack Russell" hairs and so easy to use. I am so glad I was able to get another model exactly the same and hope I shall get another 7 years good use.

it does the job very well, bought as our last hoover was on its last legs, sorted a friends one and my wife decided she wanted one so we got it the end....

What a great hoover!!!...I did my usual hoovering and then did it again with the DC07....OH MY GOD!!!....the dirt in there was unreal...makes you realise just what your old cleaner was leaving behind!!! The cord is nice and long meaning you dont have to keep unplugging when you move from room to room, and its much lighter than you would expect. And with no bag to change it couldnt be easier. I wouldnt have anything else now.

I brought a Dyson DC07 hepa filter vacuum a couple of years ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. Firstly within six months of buying the vacuum i had to get a dyson engineer out to look at it,as it stopped working. The engineer had to completely re build the vacuum and i had to have all new parts fitted. Then six months ago the motor started lighting up so i have,had to replace the motor and post motor filter,this one that goes underneath the bin. I dont rate this vacuum very good and i would not have another one. The loss of suction is also a myth,although it gets most of the bits up it certainly isn't as powerful as when i first had it and find that i have to hoover the same spot 6 to 7 times before i am satisfied. I dont feel they are worth the money and i would seriously consider other vacuums on the market for half the price before going out and buying one of these .

Wonderful vac..I wouldn't use anything else other than a Dyson. The only down side is that they are heavy to carry up and down stairs but I now have one up and one down.
