Dyson DC04SL Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

Great Cleaner, originaly selling for more than 200. Have been using a root 8 DC07 animal and compared to this the cleaner seems to be slightly less powerfull, although still 10 times stronger than a similarly speced electrloux model. The hoover will cope with the black dust found in london where the electolux's air filter would clog after an hour or so the dyson keeps going, filters still need cleaning but this is much easier and only every 6 months or so.

All parts available online so easy to replace any broken or lost components.

Only annoyance compared to DC07 is the cable hook on the back wich rotates only 90 degrees either side of upright where as the slightly newer model rotates 360

Very strong machine, dragged it for nearly 2 miles along uneven london slabbed pavemnts with no problems.

Conclusion - Would never even concider buying a different brand. keeps going when other cleaners clog or cause so much stress they get smashed. very durable cleaner. Vaccum the carpet with your existing cleaner then run the dyson over it see how much you missed originaly.

Can't fault Dyson they are excellent cleaners. Suction great. Wouldn't be without one now, have one for upstairs and downstairs.

it is as you expect from a dyson full suction if full or empty has a long telescopic wand for doing stairs & hard to reach areas all the tools you could need for every day hoovering
