From Dusk Till Dawn begins with two escaped criminals on their way to Mexico, brothers Seth (George Clooney) and Richie (Quentin Tarantino) Gecko. After an explosive beginning, the brothers kidnap Jacob Fuller (Harvey Keitel) and his two kids Kate and Scott (Juliette Lewis and Ernest Liu), and make their way to The Titty Twister, a secluded biker bar in Mexico. However, things aren't as they seem in the Titty Twister, as the Gecko brothers must team up with their hostages in order to battle a hoard of hungry vampires.

For me personally, this by far the best movie that Clooney has starred in, he delivers a ruthless, rugged performance, which is superb. Tarrantino as always produces his style of excellence in performance. A must see.

A first class film a must for any DVD collection.Watched it about 20 times now and still enjoy it immensely.Lots of blood and guts a must for any vampire,clooney,tarrantino,fan.
As for Salma Hayek and the Snake Dance,worth buying just to set your eyes on such a beautiful woman.

Okay so this movie is one of those that is paramount in your dvd collection especially if you happen to like seeing Salma Hayak half naked and Tarantino acting like a complete sexual psychopath (not a far break from reality I know). But Clooney as Seth is woah! And the young Juliette Lewis is outstanding too. Plus theres many a great gory killing quite a few laughs and a guy called sexmachine. Fun for not quite alll the family but big bro will certainly like it!

What a great film! "From Dusk To Dawn" released in 2001 is already a cult classic, The Gecco brothers George Clooney and Quintin Tarantino embark on a killing spree after a violent bank robbery, they hijack a camper truck and take its occupants, a preacher (played brilliantly by Harvey Keitel) who has lost his faith, and his son and daughter hostage forcing them to drive them over the border into Mexico to a rendezvous point, a violent bar called the "Titty twister" where they wait for a contact to arrive to exchange their stolen cash for clean bill's,
It soon becomes apparent that the locals are a little "different"...eh, they are infact Vampires! (Look out for the gorgeous vampire Salma Hayek!)
Soon the Gecco brothers, their hostages, and a handful of other patrons are fighting for their lives...Loads of gory action follows!
I would certainly recommend this 18 certificate film...Don't miss it!!

good all round physco escaped convicts romp......tarantino at his looney best...cheech marin from cheech and chong hippy movie fame brings good comedy one liners....good gory effects and not for the squeamish or faint hearted....good film to show your granny or mother in law when you go and visit....

Classic movie with a great moment outside the night club. where the doorman is selling the attractions of the club.

First saw this film on TV when channel flicking one evening, my boyfriend and I watched it with mixed reactions of surprise and laughter. Fantastic film with an amazingly audacious genre switch at the beginning that keeps the surprises coming all the way through, with witty momements of humour and satire...and naturally the vast amounts of fake blood expected in every Tarantino film. In fact we enjoyed it so much, when it had finished we immediately turned over to +1 and watched it again!
Looking forwards to seeing the making of it as well now: Full Tilt Boogie.

If you need further proof of how much we enjoyed it, I've just bought it!

George Clooney's first starring role in a Movie!.The Story begins with two brothers trying to steal enough money to get to Mexico.To do this they hold up a local gas Station and ultimately kill the local Sherriff,and the pump attendant.

After spending a night at a cheap hotel they hijack a family of a preacher (Harvey Keitel),and his son,and daughter(Juliette Lewis),and use their Camper van to try to get over the border.They succeed,and they head for a sleazy nightspot called "Titty's" and there encounter a lot of drunken bikers who later turn into Werewolves!.Yes, Werewolves!.

All are killed, except Clooney and lewis,and I will leave you to see the movie to see what happens then!A great fun movie which is highlighted by good performances from Clooney,and Lewis,and a lesser extent Keitel,but don't take it too seriously as this is obviously meant to be a fun Horror movie.

Bought Dusk till Dawn because I wanted to replace a VHS, it has a good dialogue and special effects. The main reason for deciding to buy was the price.

Action, suspence, trills, this film has it all, starts off wierd and ends up even wierder. A story thats out of this world! A must see film. Tarentino is the best director/ sroty teller in the world.

Great film i didnt want to watch at first but my partner made me :) glad he did i loved it. Really liked the action.

Another Great film from the amazing Quentin Tarrentino, I own almost all his films and love them all he is a genious. Dusk til Dawn is an incredible film with a great twist all with all Tarrentino flicks. Everyone Must buy It!

SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM GEORGE CLOONEY,A BIT OF FUN AT HORROR,AN UP TO DATE VERSION OF LIVING DEAD MIXED WITH VAMPIRES AND A WHOLE RANGE OF THINGS FROM BANK ROBERIES TO FIGHTING VAMPIRES. ALL IN ALL WELL WORTH WATCHING.
