Dumbo (DVD)

From the moment Ron Goodwin's ratatat machine-gun-rhythm music begins until the final frame, this is a beautifully-crafted Boys Own Paper adventure story, crammed with action and amazing stunts. Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood are great in this mission impossible-type thriller. Fantastic entertainment.

An absolute must see. One of Disney's greatest classics. Children and adults alike around the world will love Dumbo.
It has the colourful characters, the memorable songs and a cute little elephant you will never forget. Dumbo.
It is a film that can be watched over & over again.

I really wanted this dvd as I have it on video, but that has worn out by my daughter who played it so much.
I have now started to replace all my Disney videos with dvd's.

What can you say about this film? A flying baby elephant. Doesn't make you jump with excitement when you hear that, doesn't make you want to rush out and buy it but what a mistake that would be. Starts off fairly slow and you are thinking, this is going to be rubbish, but then you get hooked. The sight of that beautiful baby elephant and those wonderful big ears, and the look in it's mothers eyes and her overwhelming love and protective instincts every human mother will understand.

The song, "Baby mine" half way through the film will crack the hardest heart. You will fall to pieces at that moment. I always sing that song to babies I have looked after as it soothes them into sleep.
Buy it and watch it over and over again and you will cry every time.
A true classic.

I brought this for my grandson who is only 9 months old but Im sure he will love it as much as I did as a child and still do so now have a great excuse to sit down and watch it with him. The film appeals to all ages my mum loves it and shes 63.

i decided to buy this dvd for a family member because i knew how much they liked it!
it gave me much joy to see how excited they were to open it and watch it.

I love this film one of the greatest classic disney films. I decided to buy Dumbo for my 2 daughters as i wanted them to experience the magical feeling disney films give.
I would recommend this film to any one who is still young at heart or want to give their children a great present for xmas

Purchased a new Dumbo DVD because my son snapped his original. It's his favourite film so had to find a replacement at a good price incase he broke this one too. Is in pefect condition and is now watched daily. There were no problems with delivery etc - ebay is the best place to get what you want at a reasonable price.

i just love the film i think its just really good to watch and good for children it gives there mind imaginary that takes them on a complete venture and its full of animals its colourful and very understandsing

Have started Disney collection for my little boy and thrilled to get an authentic dvd so cheap. So many copies and imports are being sold it was lovely to receive this and not be disappointed one bit in any aspect!!

I bought this as it was a replacement for on i had that got damaged.Myself and my children love Disney,our collection of old vhs are now rapidly being replaced by dvd,i have spent a small fortune and am always on the lookout for new ones.

Classic Disney, just the thing to watch if you need a good cry! Beautiful animation, catchy songs this movie appeals to children and adults alike. A timeless classic.

I bought this to replace our old video of dumbo which was sadly the worse for wear. The DVD is brilliant, and even as an adult I still enjoy it. Every family with young children should have this dvd.

Good old classic - can't beat em'. Takes me back to my own childhood. Would definitely advise purchase.

At 76 years of age I think Disney classics are far better than many of the modern movies. My Great Grandaughter loves this one

The film was lovely, I have wanted to see it for a while now and i wasn't dissapointed, Its a short film but definatly a classic, and i would recommend it to anyone, a brilliant family film that i will certainly be watching again and again.

I bought this dvd for my 3 year old granddaughter as she loves all the Disney films. This is one of the older Disney films and it reminded me of when I was a little girl and all the magic stories I used to see going to the cinema as a special treat. Nowadays, dvd's are played on the TV and perhaps it is not special anymore. However, my granddaughter really loved the film and all the emotions spilled out, as to how she was upset when Dumbo's mummy was taken away and locked up, and how funny Dumbo looked with his big ears and amazement when Dumbo flew, flapping his wings. I also enjoyed the film, not only by seeing my granddaughter loving every minute, but also recalling the songs and brilliant animations. Although, it was interesting to see how much Disney animations have just got better and better with the up to date films, I think I still prefer the older ones, and I was suprised that my granddaughter still appreciated the 'old fashioned' Disney creations.

Writing a review of this film is almost pointless. If you haven't seen it, then you are truly missing out. From the heart-warming highs to the heart-breaking lows (and the acid freak-out in between), this film has proven itself to be a genuine classic.
