Works ok but not anywhere like the 7km advertised. BAtteries last less than a day when on constantly. Useful nonetheless. You will have to pay alot more to get the quality of a proper radio

These radio look great - they are small and simple to use.

The very very dissapointing point about this product is that is does not work like it says it does, its battery runs down quickly, it gets alot of interference and most of all you can only use it for a couple of hundred yards not the 7km as stipulated which is a great pity.

I bought this product for my husband and his friend so they can commincate with more ease and of course to save on telephone bills.

When I ordered these walkie talkies I was looking for them for my 5 year old daughter so she could play with them! When they arrived I was like a big kid (I'm 33 by the way) I opened them up and put in some batteries and within minutes we were playing with them all over the house. The range on them is really good, if your in a field they go on for ever, but they do break up in the city streets although the range is still pretty good. I never expected them to be anywhere near as good as they are! My memories of walkie talkies were of te really crap kind that I had as a bot, they were big and bulky, grey and had a big orange talk button!! They also had a range just big enough to stretch the lengh of your back garden, it would of been easier shouting to be honest!! But these are nothing like te walkie talkies of yester year, there great!! We have found so many uses of them already. The sound quality out of them is really good too, very clear. They also come in very handy if your following another car, you can keep in touch the old way!!
Love these and recommend them to anyone!!
