Dora The Explorer - Dora's Egg Hunt (DVD 2005)

Not having access to Sky, my daughter had never seen an episode of Dora. If they are all like this dont bother. I cant understand why it is so popular. The premis is good as is the dual languages idea and the fact that Dora is a positive female role model. But the program is shocking. It is slow, waiting at each stage for the 'audience' to make choices using an imaginary mouse to point and click. This is part of the program and the child doesnt actually have any input.
The worst things are the voices of the characters which go straight through you like nails on a blackboard. How did this get to be so popular ive no idea!! Dont bother.

I bought this dvd for my 4 year old daughter who loves dora and it was her birthday.She was very excited/happy when she recieved the dvd and has watched it loads.

beside for my daughter collections for DORA DVD, this DVD is good for learning about language, manner, vocabulary and experiences. The parents can sit down together probably to answer the question maybe happen. It is nice DVD to watch together with your little one or her friends.

I decided to buy this rather than an easter egg.
i love this because its the perfect thing to get my little sister for easter because choclate sends her a little crazy and no one can be bothered to chase after her lol. this dvd is very help full and she will get more than enough pleasure from it.

The young children in my care all love Dora and we have been learning a few Spanish phrases from a book so Dora is the ideal choice to watch so that we can hear some more easy Spanish words.
The three year old and the 2 1/2 year old were absolutely glued to this dvd for the full duration and it is quite long so didn't expect this.

I bought this dvd for my daughter as she is a big Dora fan. The four stories were very good with parts that she liked to join in with. If you have a Dora fan then this is a good buy.

I bought this DVD for my granchild, she is 2 and half and she just loves Dora, Boot's and Swiper.
I am amazed she is already counting in both English and Spanish thanks to Dora and our encouragement to interact.
We have a few Dora DVD's and they are a great pre school educational tool, helping very young children learn simple words and phrases for colour, numbers and movment in their own English language and Spanish.
I would recommened this DVD, you will be suprised at how quickly very young children can pick up a new language as they also learn their own.

Found it very hard to find any type of Dora the Explorer dvds in my local shops/supermarkets. Now my 2 year old has another to add to her collection which she is thoroughly enjoying.

bought for granddaughter she is a very big fan of dora and never misses a programme. She has quite a few dvds of dora and if she wants to watch it more than once she is happy with it and she loves this one.

As always, a great DVD, educational - teaches Spanish words/counting/memory and much more.... never fails to please.

My 3 year old loves dora the explorer, i have therefore bought her all the books i can find. I personally find the books really well written and they also teach my little girl some spanish aswell.
