Album Notes 'Don't Believe The Truth' is the sixth studio album by 60's influenced stadium rock giants Oasis. Taking their base influences of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, yet again Oasis have crafted an album that is packed with swagger and style, sounding classic without sounding dated. Includes the single 'Lyla'. Editorial Reviews Mojo - 4 | |||||||||||

Well worth a listen. Review ID: 10000000006229547 Was this review helpful? Report this review Another amazing album from the best band in the world!! Lyla is awesome, Let there be love is one of the best song's they have done to date. They keep on producing the quality goods while all the other bands have had there two minutes of fame and given up. They are THE Greatest Band ever!!! It maybe contains the odd good tune (well, Stop Crying Your Heart Out), but is - all in all - utterly forgettable. Shame. Oasis were a band with brilliant B-Sides. Now even the A-sides are below industry standard. Only keeping it because I was a die-hard Oasis fan. Stopped putting it in the CD player a long time ago. What matters is your own personal opinion and what the music means to you. For me this album is great from start to finish. 'Don't believe the truth' is definitely one of thier best albums to date. Some people will say thay oasis have lost what they used to have?? But personally i think the music, the band and albums are always getting better. I agree with what someone said on another review here saying 'Oasis are one of the best bands in the world'. This really is their best work since 1995's globe-straddling WHAT'S THE STORY (MORNING GLORY). The music has matured and personally i love it, can't wait until the next album!
