I came across this album by accident, the final track on the cd (Walk Between Raindrops) has been played a few times on Radio 2 by Sarah kennedy whilst driving home from work, I automatically assumed it was Steely Dan, I got on line one night & found out about this CD, I thought being as it had been released in '82 I'd find it hard to track a copy down. But I managed to find a few on ebay, put in a bid, won it, got it, went straight to the final track, put it in the car finally got to listen to the album in it's entirety. There ain't many albums out there that you can listen to without wanting to skip through the tracks, well there wasn't no track skipping here, the guy is a genius, as the album depicts on the front cover, a nightfly is a late night american DJ, and that is what I see every time I play this cd, late night driving music, or better still a nice glass of scotch, lights turned down & a fag in your hand chilling with Donald! This album will move you, it's jazz, soul, rock & blues all rolled into one. What more can anyone ask for? If you loved Steely Dan, your gonna love this CD. So what you waiting for? get on ebay & get yourself a copy!!!!!!!!!
