Ken Bruce on Radio 2 frequently plays Heart of the Matter and End of Innocence, such great songs, so I looked for an CD with them on, I was really pleased to see that this CD also had Boys Of Summer and other super songs on it! thanks Ken.........

excellent compilation of some great songs sung well - maybe a few years oild but they are as good today as they were when they were first released

I bought this purely because Don Henley seems to ignore the demand of online download sources like itunes, paid less for it on ebay than if I could have downloaded it so it's his loss!
It's a great CD, every track you've heard from Don Henley on the radio is included from the superb Boys of Summer to New York Minute.
If you only have space for one Don Henley CD in your collection it should be this one.
Maybe one day you'll be able to download the tracks you want from itunes eh?

like anything eagles simple as that.could listen to this stuff all day,and do.which shows my age but todays bands dont do much for me.

Don Henley the drummer, and mostly lead vocalist with the Eagles. Everybody knows his voice on such classics as Hotel California and Desperado.This is a collection of his own work outside of the group. Remember "Boys of Summer" ? Perhaps his most famous track,but actually, there are better tracks on this collection.He is joined by most members of the Eagles,Glen Frey apart, during various songs,additionally,musicians from TOTO feature heavily.Beware though,most of his songs are very serious poignant, and moody .....just like Henley ?

I had dirty laundry track on 7" vinyl it got damaged and i was looking for the track and artist and found it on ebay on an album and purchased it and am very pleased.

Although there are traces of Eagles running through this cd -- Don Henley has put his ownership on this as an indivual performer.
Other than the long time favorites like "Boys of Summer" "Dirty Laundry" etc. I really love the tracks = "I will not go Quietly" & "You dont know me at all"
I have put a rating of Excellent on this cd - and would encourage any Henley / Eagles fans to consider buying this.

ACTUAL MILES GREATEST HITS CD 1995 - DON HENLEYAnyone who likes the Eagles will like this album. It is a collection of songs by Don Henley at his best! A great collection of fast and slow songs ideal for ages 30+ . Boys of Summer and Heart of the matter being the best songs on the album! A great CD!
