Wishing to pursue a heavier musical direction, and feeling restricted by his old bandmates, Lynch once again left Dokken shortly after 1997's SHADOW LIFE. Instead of going on hiatus again as they once did in the late '80s, Dokken decided to soldier on, with ex-Winger guitarist Reb Beach taking Lynch's vacated spot. On the first Dokken album with Beach, 2000's ERASE THE SLATE, the music remains more straight-ahead than on Dokken's glossy '80s releases, but incorporates more melody into the mix than their later '90s efforts--check out the title track and "The Maddest Hatter" for the proof.DVD Features:Region 0Super Jewel Case PlusAudio: Dolby Digital 5.1- English 5.1 Surround Sound - English 24 bit/96 khz 24 bit/48 khzAdditional Release Material: Audio-DVD Only Music Video - "Maddest Hatter"Photo/Text Galleries: Artist PhotosAdditional Products: Liner Notes
